I've been here a couple of times now, and each time I have been treated with absolute respect. All the staff is knowledgeable and cares about their art. I only have piercings, so can only speak to that side of the business. Tristan the owner is patient and extremely knowledgeable. He genuinely cares about his customers and his customer service. The sterility of the piercings, both new and old, is top of the line; allowing a minimum 8 minutes of sterilization per piercing (maybe even more: this information should be correct) prior to insertion. I have never gotten an infection from any piece of jewelry here, or new piercing. The shop is incredibly clean. In fact I even got "yelled" at for touching my ears too much while I was picking out a new piece of jewelry - which I can so appreciate as an RN. I highly recommend this shop to any body, veteran or not, to piercings. I will be continuing my business here and do not mind paying for the quality and peace of mind in exceptional service. After seeing the other reviews, I decided to go with Third Eye Body Art for a double helix piercing. The experience was great! The shop is super clean with excellent customer service, and they have gorgeous jewelry. Jonny was the one that did my piercing. He was very professional as he talked me through the piercing process and how they sterilize jewelry. I appreciate that he took his time to make sure the placements and everything else is right. And it looks perfect! Overall, the experience so fun. The piercings didn't hurt as bad as I thought. It hasn't been a week, but my piercings are healing really well. I went a couple weeks ago to get my daith pierced and I absolutely loved the experience. I walked in and was the only person so they took me back as soon as I showed my birth certificate and signed some forms (I'm under 18). I was very nervous about getting it done but the guy that did it was very nice and funny and it calmed me down a lot. The whole process went amazing, everything was sterile and I didnt feel any pain and still haven't! I don't know if it's because of them or if daiths just don't hurt but still I'm very glad it doesn't. The shop is very nice, they have great jewelry as well. As long as you come prepared with paperwork (you can find what you need on their website) and a positive attitude everything will be just amazing! We went to Third Eye Body Art to have our 5 year old daughter's ears pierced. As soon as went in for our appointment Robert was amazing. They take the child's body autonomy very seriously and made sure she was happy with every step of the process. Robert was also very patient between ears when she needed some time between ears. I heartily recommend this shop for all your piercing needs. They change gloves between steps. All the needles are disposable. They even use sealed sterile surgical gloves, not standard gloves out of a box like every other shop I have ever seen. Truly great business. Read Less

I went into Third Eye Body Art with my girlfriend to have a cover up done on a tattoo that she did not like. Throughout the conversations and drawings from the artist, Greg Chorman, things seemed pretty good and we were both excited about getting her art done. After the first session we were not very pleased with the progress that was made however was reassured that obviously it was only the first session and that the artist had much more work to do. We then went to the second session after which he said he only needed one more session to tidy things up and that the cover up was basically done. However when we went to look into the mirror to see a beautifully tatted piece of artwork, we saw the work he did as well as the previous tattoo obviously still visible. Again, we presented our concerns and he said to “just trust him” that he wasn’t done yet and had to go back in and darken other areas. However, there was one part of the cover up he said he was done with, and I kid you not you could literally see the entire previous tattoo that was underneath. Now, after dealing with all that; may I remind you we were not treated kindly by the artist after our addressment of concern; we contacted the owner (At the time. Now of which he is no longer the owner) and he said he would have another artist go back in and fix what Greg messed up and would reduce the price for us. The new artist of course said she could definitely fix it and would have no problem whatsoever, which sounds awfully like what Greg said. . . Anyway, we were willing to give it a shot but had to wait for her tattoo to heal before we could begin anything else. A month later we messaged the “owner” and he seemed agitated that we had contacted him. He was aggressively rude and seemed very condescending while talking with us as if it was our fault that his artist did a bad job. He even said “Wow, I could do a better job than that, that is pretty bad.” How are you going to say you could do a better job than one of your “most talented artists” when you aren’t even one yourself? Anyway, if you want a cover up, or any work done at all, I would personally suggest you take your business elsewhere. Read Less

If I could give this shop less than one star I would. They need to stick to piercings. I went in and talked to Greg for a fairly easy cover up and he was so friendly and nice and gave me complete faith that he could cover up my old tattoo. Well two sessions later, I have a half finished tattoo that you can still COMPLETELY see the other tattoo through, he botched my arm and it looks terrible. I then went to the "owner" which he told me he was the owner but turns out someone else bought the shop and now he's not even the real owner anymore, so he completely lied to me. And wouldn't even give my the REAL owners name or email address. He said " I owned this place as of four weeks ago and build it from the ground up, its my shop" WELL SORRY DUDE IF SOMEONE ELSE BOUGHT IT ITS NOT YOURS ANYMORE. He said I didn't want to know what the real owner of the shop had to say about me and that he was "MUCH BETTER" than the actually owner at handling these situations. He was completely rude to me told me as he was looking at my completely botched cover up  "you could do a better job yourself" and "it doesn't get much worse than that". Then laughed. He didn't offer a refund or to even get my deposit back by the way I still don't have. He then said I could pay minika to cover it up and fix it for half the price when it was healed which would still be well over the price me and Greg originally agreed on. I messaged him again he was very rude and acted very annoyed as like I was being rude and unfair. So he finally just came out and said fine "I'll just pay for it myself"like I couldn't pay for it and like I was being dramatic. I paid around 500 dollars for a terrible tattoo and nothing will be done about it what so ever. This place has "independent consultants" and whatever they do to your body will be permanent and the tattooists or the piercers will not be even consulted and nothing will happen if they fuck up your body for the rest of your life. So please, steer clear of this god forsaken place. If you want to see how terrible my tattoo is send me a message and I'll be glad to show you how bad it is so you will never step foot in this place. Got my nostril done by Rob, amazing experience. I've had multiple tattoos and piercings done at multiple body mod shops in multiple states and Rob is by far the best piercer I've ever been pierced by. He's very on the level and up front, ultra sterile, very professional. Whole process was smooth and his process was so medical like that it was basically painless and over quick. I had my right daith pierced in April in hopes that it would help my daily migraines I was warned at the beginning it may not, it has I have had 3 migraines in 2 months that did not require medication. This facility is spotless, the procedure was very sterile I'm a nurse and I was totally impressed I lost one of the balls 4 days later I sent an email at midnight and got a response by 7 am and it wad replaced at noon my piercing healed with no issues I love and trust this facility so much I plan on getting pierced again and I send everyone here Read Less

So very disappointed! Took my 11 year old daughter to get her ears pierced after reading positive reviews. The immediate experience was fine... friendly staff, very clean procedure, but the piercing itself was a disaster. I felt the piercings were off, meaning not symmetrical with her face and I noticed the holes were at an incline. I figured for as much as I paid for a professional and not just a mall job they must know what they are doing. But, after a few weeks I could not... live with the asymmetry and took her to another tatoo parlor to get a second opinion. They were far less concerned with the asymmetry then they were with the angle of the piercing, which I did not mention. Needless to say, the earnings have been removed and now we get to pay another large chunk of money to have someone else redo what should have been done correctly in the first place. Hands down the best service I have received! I was a little unsure, but after seeing the other reviews I decided to give them a shot. I just wanted a quality job when getting my nose re-pierced because being African-American I am more susceptible to keloids and who knows what else can happen. I also have been told my nose is very thick and a previous piercing actually sunk in during the heeling process.So I came here to get my nose pierced. This is piercing number 3 as the previous two had to be removed for work, etc. They tell you everything they do and why, including walking you through their sterilization process. They made sure I was very comfortable and the guy talked me through his every step. (Sorry forgot his name, but he was awesome...bald head, tatted up ) I live in Goodyear and this was an almost 45 min drive for me and it was absolutely worth it. Got my cartilage pierced! Honestly I was so nervous and a huge baby about it, but everyone here made me feel like it was no big deal and made me feel comfortable right away. Rob was great and helped me decide on an earring and talked me through the whole process. Super cool guy!!Everything was super clean. SUPER CLEAN. Sanitation was totally not even a concern here. I just got my first tattoo as a birthday present from my sister. Let me tell you I was terrified! Everyone kept telling me how much it hurts and that I wouldn't be able to handle it. I stopped in today with a friend that was looking for some new plugs, and ended up having a chat with Jake about my dimple piercings that are still in the healing process. He was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about how troublesome these piercings are and gave me some pointers on what I could do differently. I was very leery to take my girls (6 and 9) to the mall to get their ears pierced. After doing some research, I decided to take them to a tattoo/piercing studio instead. I called Third Eye Body Art to ask them some basic questions about piercing. They were very nice over the phone and immediately put my mind at ease. The entire experience was wonderful. Rob was so great with my girls who were both very nervous to have their ears pierced. The studio was very clean and everythi...ng they used was sterile. They even put on sterile gloves before doing the actual piercing. The cost to have the piercing done was $55 and the price for the earrings varied depending on what you choose. One thing to note, the earring prices they quote are per earring, not per pair so it is more expensive than going to the mall BUT it is worth every penny. I came here to get a simple earlobe piercing and was amazed at how much time they spent going over every little detail about the piercing. The minute I walked in the door Robert came out and showed me different earring options I could do and there was so much more of a variety here then I have ever seen anywhere else. I told him the concerns I had with my piercing since I have had problems in the past and he eased my mind about everything. They are also very clean and throughout with their piercings as not only was everything sterilized but they wore a mask and gloves as well which places like Claire's does not do.
