Went in for a nostril piercing and Bernie and Kylie(I think that was her name) were great! Kylie was quick and friendly with the paperwork and got us in so quick. If I could go ABOVE 5 stars, I would! I went in to Club Tattoo last night because I happened to have a few minutes to spare and was really wanting to try the daith piercing to see if it would help my headaches. I walked in with my 4 mo old baby (I'm a single mom and a foster mom and my baby is pretty much with me everywhere I go) and Amy immediately saw me and was SO happy to help me! I told them I was totally fine coming back if they didn't want my baby there but Amy insisted that it was fine and that I didn't need to worry about it. She was so kind and helpful and although I was nervous for the piercing itself, she made the entire process such a great experience! Ina is amazing. I've been to a lot of shops in a lot of states and I have never met a more down to earth/sweet person tattooing. I honestly feel badly because my tattoo was pretty basic/small compared to what's in her portfolio which is CRAZY beautiful. Everyone here is so nice! I got my nose pierced an didnt like the jewellery I originally got and they fixed it with no extra cost. They'll take all the time in the world to make sure you're getting exactly what you want and won't let you leave unsatisfied! I thought my piercing place back in wisconsin was good but it's nothing compared to club tattoo. Their jewellery selection is vast and beautiful. My second tattoo and now am in the process of getting it removed!Was told it was not anything difficult, one color black, Hebrew characters that were actually copied and then traced onto my arm.Total Blowout! , Characters are not crisp and bold and blue fade all around the tattoo. After speaking with 6-7 tattoo artists they all came up with the same conclusion. The Club tattoo artist didn't consider the skin elasticity and condition of the inner part of the forearm and inked as if he was inking a firmer part. Hence, he inked too-deep and the ink spread.Went back and he said he can fix it, lost confidence at this point.fBe sure to research before you ink. Look for a tattoo artist not a tattoo factory. I think my pictures speak for themselves. Don't get any piercings done here. Stay away! I chose a daith piercing for migraines. Well here I am $100's in the hole without relief because of this place. I went back to show them I was having an infection occur. They looked at it and said oh it's fine. Just let it heal. I tried for 2 more months since they said wait 6 months since that's how long it takes to heal at least. So glad I chose not to listen to the six month rule. 2 urgent care visits later and an infection risk to my body in which I'm pregnant (didn't know during piercing time). That means taking medications is very limited to stop this. I informed the piercer I was extremely sensitive to metals. She assured me the metal I was buying was the extremely hypoallergenic metal and safe for everyone. I explained I needed a gold piercing. She assured me I didn't need it if I pierced with this particular expensive jewelry piece. Now I'm out of the money from the piercing and jewelry, but I'm also out hundreds from urgent care. I thought I could trust this place. They are definitely not what they used to be 10 years ago when I actually could trust them. They refuse to accept responsibility for this. I do not have enough amazing things to say about this place. Every single staff member in club tattoo is friendly, happy, and inviting. I have seen the work of all of the tattoo artists and they’re all amazing. While i was getting my piece done, i heard other artists singing and laughing while they worked on their clients. Everyone was so happy and having a great time. The entire facility is clean and hygienic, with such a friendly and professional atmosphere. My artist, Ina, took my idea, made it better and then utterly perfected it. She mastered this huge piece that covered the entirety of the backs of my legs. This piece took three 8 hour sessions, but Ina was as excited as i was to do this and i could never, ever have imagined that it would turn out as absolutely perfect as it did. Every artist in this facility is brilliant, but my experience with Ina was exceptional and i am so fortunate to have her work on my legs forever. I'm usually not the type to share something so negative but I have to share my experience with this business. I scheduled an appointment for a month in advance for a tattoo that meant a lot to me. This was a large rib piece that I spoke with Kenzie about and showed him multiple pictures of what I was looking for. This included a cover up of a smaller tattoo. We discussed the image, I sent him what I was looking for so he had it when drawing and I felt really good about our conversation.The day of my appointment Kenzie showed up 10 minutes late (not a big deal). He came in said hey, went to the back room, left to go get soda from the local gas station then came back (ok, whatever). He then started googling images of lotuses to begin drawing my tattoo. It took about 30-45 minutes for him to draw and size the tattoo, without taking into consideration what I had sent him. Finally, we went into the room and he put the stencil on my ribs, I liked the new look so I was ok with what he drew. He then proceeds to call jimmy johns, have food delivered, and eat it, before beginning my tattoo. This I thought was extremely rude as he was already late and hadn't drawn the tattoo. This was by far the most painful and upsetting experience I've ever had with tattoos/piercings. The tattoo came out pretty nice but he took 1 hour for a huge piece which he didn't seem to care about. He told me repeatedly how much this would hurt and how as he is working it's not going to get better.. Also, instead of completing my coverup which I made clear how important to me it was, he literally colored in the lines I already had. I now have 3 completely black lotuses on my ribs and terrible memories of a tattoo that was supposed to mean so much to me. I'm so sorry to be long winded but I think it's important that people know how upset I was. Since then I've had 2 tattoos done at Tattooed Planet in Tempe and my fiancé is getting work done their and our experience is 100 times better. They genuinely care about the work they are doing. My sister and I went in for tattoos on Sunday April 15th, 2018, we were very satisfied with the tattoo until a couple of hours later we noticed the swelling and the bleeding had not stopped we were doing everything the correct way and we were using a product that was sold to us by club tattoo, I have 5 tattoos prior to this one and I've never experienced problems, by Monday my arm was swollen past the point of the tattoo, I couldn't put my arm down to my side without an extreme amount of pain all the way down into my finger tips, I again used antibacterial soap, and this time used aquafor instead of the product given to me by club tattoo, by Tuesday I was feeling sick,the pain hadn't subsided, ibuprofen wasn't helping with the swelling I had puss and blood coming out of small blisters on the tattoo I went in to the shop to show Kenzi and he said it wasn't infected and to just let it dry out, and that it would need to be touched up, after I left the shop I didn't feel okay I ended up going to urgent care where I was told I had cellulitis, the infection measured 15 inches long 10 inches wide. I've been placed on an oral antibiotic and a topical antibiotic, if that doesn't work they said I would need to go the ER. This has been the worst experience, and I can tell my tattoo won't heal properly, I feel like I got ripped off with something that was supposed to be meaningful to me and my sister. Read Less

Ever since, he had me sold easily in using him as my next tattoo artist, even if it meant traveling from Minnesota! I was really excited to get my first tattoo done here after I saw the amazing reviews. The artist (forgot his name - might be John) seemed bored because I was just getting a small tattoo. He charged me $130 for three letters on my wrist. He was super annoyed when my eyes were tearing (I have a low pain tolerance but it really really hurt) and it was my first time so I didn't know how it would feel. He didn't give me any instructions for after care. He was just straight up rude and inattentive. The only reason I left 2 stars is for the super kind and compassionate lady at the front. She talked me through the whole process and gladly answered all the questions I had. However, I just won't be coming back again. If you go, ask for someone else. Read Less

This is a great place. I stopped in without an appointment and no idea what I wanted to get for a cover-up. I I spoke with Ray Palfi and we brainstormed on something to get. I finally settled on a black rose on my forearm. It came out better than I could ever imagine I'm very happy with this tattoo. I was going in to check a price for a memorial tattoo. I told him I wanted it exactly like the picture (A spider woman and industrial bars). He criticized my tattoo because he thought it would look funny together and he treated me like I was stupid. I don't care what other people think, a tattoo is for me, not decoration for others to appreciate. It can be both, but that was not my intention. That was a memorial for my brother. Something deep and meaningful that was apparently not up to this guy's standards. I then asked to talk with Ray because I didn't want to talk to the other guy anymore and to double check the price the first guy gave. I said the same thing to him about what I wanted. He said okay, gave me the same price, but he wasn't patronizing or disrespectful. Also, the price was a little higher than the last time I went. UPDATE: I went back in to get my tattoo, there was a mix up with scheduling, so I had to wait an hour and a half past my appointment time. Honestly, I wasn't upset because I get that mistakes happen. I was perfectly fine with waiting. I would've changed it to 5 stars, but after waiting x amount of time, the girl working asked me to come over to pay. In the middle of the transaction process, someone walked in the store, and she completely stopped helping me and went to help those people. (To clarify, there was twice that she helped people in front of me. Once in the middle of helping me and again after I had to transfer money. I'm talking about the first time, the second time I wasn't bothered by it.) Now, I'm a really easy person to please. I don't get upset easily because I've worked retail for years. That was the first time I've almost snapped at someone. I, personally, won't be going back. Also, my tattoo was crooked. I'm almost sure my artist knew it because there was a wrinkle in the sketch when he put it on my arm. He just wanted to get it done. I knew it was going to be, but I had already had so much drama because of this tattoo that I ignored it. My biggest regret to this day. I'm so disappointed. Please don't waste your time or money! I went in later the same day and took my husband with me this time-- the staff was attentive and even the tattoo artist was extremely kind and informative when my husband described a memorial tattoo he's been wanting (last time we walked out was due to an artist, but the desk staff was really friendly at that time, so we were shocked at the artist's attitude), so I'm not joking when I say I was genuinely surprised and relieved our experience was different. The room I got pierced in was clean and the piercer had a calm demeanor that helped me stay calm. I wouldn't have gone back except for their efforts to provide a better experience (my husband and I usually try to give a place a few tries before making an ultimate decision), which is commendable and much appreciated. I just wish a good experience was a guarantee every time you walk in, which is why I'll give it 4/5 stars. ----------- ORIGINAL: Everyone pretty much says the same thing-- they're super pretentious and snobby here. You guys! This place is getting 5 stars for every reason possible! I am a frequent customer and have been for almost 14 years now. I have 9 piercings and 6 tattoos. I recently got my septum pierced by Amy. She's a freaking riot! Made me feel right at home, constantly made me laugh and feel the most comfortable I have ever been. My daughter and I went in as a walk in. We were greeted with a super nice lady up front. We wanted a mother / daughter tattoo. She hooked us up with Tony . He was so awesome . I tried explaining to this girl on the phone I asked to speak w/ Nick for just a moment or leave a message for him. Both of these locations are awesome! My boyfriend called the Tempe location for an extremely last minute tattoo last night. He was told that they could get him in in 15 minutes if we got there quickly. When we got there, the artist ended up not being available and they apologized to us and gave us $20 off and set us up at the Mesa location. We were expecting to not even get an appointment so last minute, so for them to do that was great!! He ended up seeing Ray, who not only was super dope, but extremely professional and knowledgeable. This is a wonderful tattoo shop to go to. I highly recommend seeing Nic Mann for your next piece! He has done all of my work and I am going for another tattoo by him as well. I am very satisfied with the work he has done on me, it is quality work and he is very experienced in the industry. My tattoos turned out great, healed and look perfect. I came in with a 35 year old tattoo that I wanted covered up. I showed my assigned artist, Scott Ledbetter, a picture of what I wanted. He took the time to sketch it out with a few minor changes to ensure a complete cover up of the old tattoo.I can't express enough appreciation for Scott's artistic abilities. He did an AMAZING job! This was my first tattoo I had ever gotten and Tony Abbott completely exceeded all of my expectations, in both the art and experience as a whole! He made sure I was fully satisfied with the design and I don't think it could have turned out more beautifully! I have heard nothing but compliments since receiving it. This club tattoo is my favorite. I have been going for years. And the last few times i have seen Burni for my piercing needs he is fantastic and super nice. I took 2 of my nieces there for there first piercings and he made the feel very comfortable. All the ladies at the front desk were super nice to. I will always come to this location. Read Less

Lnz was dope as fuck. I gave her the idea of what I wanted, showed her reference pics but she drew it up herself. So when I went back to get it done I was super surprised because she just made it amazing. She was very fast & very light so the shading wasn't as painful as it could have been. She's extremely neat with her work as well  We had great convo which made my 2 hour session flew by. Def coming back to her for more work!The shop itself was nice, clean & had a good vibe. Nic is one of my closest friends. I see how great his artwork is and how passionate he is about it. I always repost his artwork and have other asking who my friend is and can he do my tattoo? Once he's completed their tattoo they are very happy. When I leave work I usually stop buy and even the rest of the staff is so welcoming and friendly. Nic Mann is a legit artist who helped cover up a crap tattoo with my daughters name. I've known the guy for close to 14 years, honesty, integrity, and loyalty are just some of the amazing qualities of this man and he only surrounds himself with people that share those values. I had 4 piercings done in my cartilage back in 2008, but had to have any take them out for me a year ago.  Sadly, I lost all my retainers and all but one closed. Fast forward to today, when I stopped in to have her put my one sad piercing back in. There was only one person ahead of me short wait time! Bonus!) and I chatted it up with Kaylee while I waited and she was hilarious and so helpful! Then, Amy took me back to replace my piercing.  She's the best! Not only did she replace the one I had left, but she was able to reopen the other 3, with no pain and no struggle! She saved the day! I had her take a look at what will look good for some new piercings and she had a ton of suggestions. Honestly, I'm just going to come back and let her be creative. My friends and I went to Club Tattoo in Mesa last night to get a few piercings we'd been wanting. While I ended up leaving without any (my ear wasn't built for what I wanted), my friends each got pierced by Bernie. He was extremely patient with us and very professional. He was also meticulous with keeping clean gloves on and making sure they were happy with the placement before piercing.I have always been an HTC loyalist but thought I'd give Club Tattoo a try since Tempe is becoming a pain in the butt with traffic and parking. We were not disappointed! I would have given this place 5 Stars, but have to agree with the other reviewers-- the receptionist wasn't the most pleasant or informative. And I was a little bummed I couldn't take pictures of the piercing in action (probably a liability thing?). But I'd recommend Bernie hands down. I've had a LOT of piercings and he gives you the time and expertise you're looking for. I will definitely be back! Read Less

I had most of my tattoos done and piercings done at Club Tattoo on Country Club and have nothing but good things to say. They are amazing and everyone is really nice. I wanted to get a tattoo behind my right ear, I dont know the name of the guy who said that he would not do it... He said that he would not tattoo me there because he only does it to people who have alot of tattoos. I took off my hoodie that I had on to show him that I had full sleeves on both my right and left arms, then he still refused to do it... I dont know why he did not want to tattoo me but it is really fu**ed up to turn down a customer.... I will never go to Club Tattoo againg even though they did most of the work on my right arm...
