I went to this shop once before for a tattoo. Did a wonderful job on it. That's why the second time around I choose them to go to. I was getting a tattoo done by Billy. A pretty simple tattoo. It looked great the first two days. My first red flag was when he put this plastic sticky thing over it (like saran wrap) and the told me to leave it on for  FOUR DAYS!!! You can't leave a tattoo covered for four days! But as an idiot I followed what my artist suggested. It fell off on day 2 in the morning. So I proceeded to clean it with dial soap, after I pat dried it and it was completely dry I used one of two things:aquaphor and unsented lotion. But never both at the same time. I have several other tattoos so the cleaning process is not new to me whatsoever. It processed to ooz out ink and puss. Obviously the tattoo at this point is infection. I consult with several other tattoo artist. They proceeded to tell me the artist went too deep. So I take myself to the Emergency Room after work. BOOM! They tell me "yup that's infected." They gave me a shot of antibiotics that lasted for 12 hours. They prescribed me three medicines. 2 pills and 1 cream. However the cost for these medications is $327.32. Like holy cow! Now I can cover most of this but I ask the shop owners to refund my $140 so I can afford the rest of the meds. They beat around the bush saying I don't know how to take care of the tattoo and no doctor can tell me it's infected and if it was infected you'd be able to see it. Well, it's dark RED all around the tattoo and has been for 10 days now, there's puss STILL coming out of it, 10 days of puss. How is that not infected?! At this point there's a hole, a literal hole, in my leg from this tattoo. They are still refusing a refund after me sending pictures to them! Then proceeded to ask for my doctors information so they can call and talk to them! What?! Have you ever heard of doctor patient confidentiality?? After all this I'm still not on medication and they aren't giving two shits about it. They'd rather sit here and argue about it instead of making sure my health is okay. I even told them I'm not bashing your shop or the artist about any of this. Well now I'm over it. People need to know what scum work here. A bunch of bullshit if you ask me. Also little side note: the artist, Billy, openly admitted to stabbing himself with a needle while doing a tattoo. So he's cross contaminating and could cause someone to get a blood disease and he just lets it roll off his shoulder like it's nothing. Read Less

I went into this shop on May 14th and requested a paragraph with a faint watercolor background on my upper arm. The artist begrudgingly took me on (after I asked if they were accepting walk ins) and took my reference. I went to the back, with my friend in tow, and watched him type the stencil and measure out my arm. Everything was spelled correctly. When we placed the stencil he placed it to far inside of my arm and slightly crooked, we moved it outward. Everything was going fine until I looked down and noticed FOUR spelling errors. And MULTIPLE grammatical errors. The Artists name was Josh(?) but goes by Roach. After this he claimed he could fix it and advised I just don't treat those areas with any healing ointment or lotion. As if the letters weren't already tattooed. I let him finish the color, because he said we could 'discuss pricing' so if I was paying for anything, it might as well be colored correctly. The color came out blotchy and didn't blend well. (The turquoise was just a floating pool with a scar in the middle from his technique.)  I was OUTRAGED. I walked out, luckily without having to pay a dime. My arm ruined. **I tried calling the shop soon after to try and explain my experience to the owners or a manager and was told over and over I was only able to talk to the artists. I even asked about emailing or using social media to reach them. I was told everything was handled by the staff as it was used to book appointments. I offered to come in to meet them, they don't have set times to be there. Could they call me back? 'You can leave your number and they might'. SUPERIOR CUSTOMER TREATMENT. I don't care if anyone reads this or gets tattooed here or cares. But this was my experience. A ruined tattoo. Embarrassed to show my arm. And poorly treated my the people who did this to me. The words spelled wrong: People as 'Peopple' Between as 'Betweem' May as 'Me & My' Errors such as: may be as 'maybe' anyway as 'anyways' 3xIt took me this long to post because I FINALLY got it fixed by a DIFFERENT artist. My daughter got her nose pierced here, which was a bad experience.  It appeared the piercer (the Owner) lacked experience doing nose piercings.  He didn't use a nose piercing needle (an ear piercing needle was used), he didn't adjust the jewelry before inserting the piercing needle, and he didn't allow my daughter to choose the jewelry for the piercing.  He did the piercing, inserted the jewelry after doing the piercing and then he removed the jewelry to adjust it before reinserting it, which caused some irritation.  Following the procedure, there were no instructions given on how to car for the piercing.  This was our first experience, so we didn't question the procedure.  Since then, we took our daughter to another establishment and are very pleased with the experience. Fantastic! I went in to have my nose pierced, again, after two failed attempts at other places. I always ended up with infections or keloids no matter how diligent I was. Jason at Rebel Ink did it the third time AND IT WAS A CHARM! Incredible piercer with years and years of experience. It healed beautifully and quickly with no problems at all. Called to ask about prices of piercings and before I could even finish my sentence, they hung up on me. I wanted to get piercings for both me and my sister including having both of our helixs and upper lobe piercings done, and my mother wanted a couple of piercings too but they were completely rude. I shall not be spending any one my money here EVER!!!! Always come here for Friday the 13th deals; kinda disappointed they'd allow their apprentice with little experience to tattoo on this busy day. Doesn't have a steady hand and my tattoo turned out pretty sloppy. I only paid $20 for it though, so can't complain too much. The new layout of the shop looks great, though. Please take my advice and do not go here for tattoos!! I went in to get a tattoo as simple as a moon cycle, and left with the worst possible version of what I wanted. Not only do they do a poor job at their job, but they over charge and scam everyone for their money. I got the tattoo done underneath my breasts and the entire time "NIK" was doing my tattoo, he continued to bring the other tattoo artists over to "see his work". I despise my tattoo, and although they offer free touch ups, I wouldn't even think twice going back here after the first time... again please don't go here..you are better off finding someone off the street to do your tattoo. Angie and the staff were great! She had off but still came in to pierce my daughter's ears. It's important to me that my child make the decision to modify her own body, not with a gun that cannot be properly cleaned, but correctly with a professional piercer. I loved that they took the right steps, a copy of her birth certificate and verified she wanted to do it. I want to thank Zo so much for fixing a tattoo that I recently got done at Sinful Skin tattoo studio. Zo could have easily turned me away but he felt my pain and immediately put me at ease when he displayed pure confidence in his ability to fix what my prior tattoo artist took no pride in completing correctly. I had to wear sleeves in the AZ heat because I was too embarrassed to show the previous tattoo. I now LOVE my new tattoo by Zo and warned him that he now has a customer for life. We tried to make an appointment on yelp and ended up just calling before we heard back.  Duane was polite when he did finally respond and apologized for the delayed response, but when we went in for our appointment the person who helped us didn't seem aware of our appointment, and was seriously licking his fingers as he walked up to the counter and asked us what we needed.  We were quoted nearly $150 more than what we ended up paying elsewhere. Our experience here grossed us out hard core.  The employee we dealt with was unsanitary, as was the lobby and the overall appearance of the establishment.  Glad we didn't end up using this place.  We had a much better experience at a different place called electric art tattoo.The follow up after leaving a review was impressive, perhaps we experienced just an off day at the shop. ANGIE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! A couple weeks ago I went into a mall and received 2 piercings in my tragus that were done completely wrong. These piercings contained the wrong jewelry as well, and they were beginning to burrow into my ears. I didn't know what to do, but I came into Rebel Ink and Angie knew just what to do immediately. She was truly empathetic and even apologized that I had been through such a terrible ordeal. She was totally gentle and the process was painless after removing the bad jewelry, cleaning my piercings and inserting the proper jewelry. Theyre completely uneven and i have not been able to get a response through text message and when i call the shop. I went to this shop for my first tattoo and they completely ruined the experience for me. I was so excited when I walked in and extremely upset and disappointed when my small tattoo healed. I had a small rose wrist tattoo done there and it was done so poorly that when I went to get a touch up they just gave me double my money back. Jordan (4hour) really messed up a simple outline of a cross on my upper arm (I will put up a picture), I was told I was going to get a refund, after putting up a review on FB a week later I was contacted regarding the refund. They also stated that they had their lawyer I. Brown call my doctors office for information regarding my laser tattoo removal. This is not true. Medical information is protected under HIPAA laws. The manger at the laser center assured me that no calls/ information was given nor requested from the tattoo shop owner Ronna, or their" lawyer" I. Brown. Their piercer Angie is very professional, clean, down to earth. I got a forward helix done by her and my friend got her nose pierced by Angie as well. I have been wanting to get my eyebrows tattooed since I'm tired of drawing them on everyday. I met with and talked to Ronna and decided to go for it. The shop was super clean and I liked the fact that she took great care to make sure that there was no cross contamination. She was great about mixing the colors she had, to come up with the perfect color for me. Ronna was great about starting off small then adding more as we went along so I could see the progress. She even gave me different shape options. She had a really light touch and between that and the numbing cream she applied I was barely uncomfortable. The color was pretty dramatic the first few days but since color fades pretty quickly I am happily adjusted now. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone for any of your tattoo needs.
