I go here for all of my piercings done by Cooley! He is the only piercer I have gone to that is fast without putting me through any pain. He has an eye for making sure everything is in the right place and is thorough in his whole process, making sure everything is to your liking. Went here today after work earlier this afternoon to get my nose pierced. I've had my nose pierced before, so let me backtrack a little bit.I got my nose pierced when I was 18, almost 2 years ago. I went to Platinum Ink in El Mirage. It hurt so bad, and I bled for a good 15 minutes after. Went here today to get it repierced in the same spot. The lady with the red hair pierced me. She was SO knowledgeable and KNEW what she was doing. She was so fast as well and I told her what had happened before and she said the piercer at the other place most likely used too big of a needle for the size of the piercing. Guess what? I did not bleed at all! And it did not hurt at all, hurts less than my ears did tbh. I will for now on, come here for piercings. Read Less

I did a walk in with my sister in law to get my nose pierced very great service! We had to wait like 15min but the whole time someone kept coming and asking if We wanted water or if I needed help picking a piercing. Cooley was the one who pierced my nose and it was the best decision to have him pierce it. He knows what he's doing, he also takes you step by step  on the process. Walked in after work on like a Wednesday and was able to get my nose pierced right away. Cooley was very professional, knowledgeable, and quick. I picked out the jewelry and when he put it in I actually didn't really like it, he was so patient and helpful while I picked out another piece (I bought both of them of course) and he put it in for me. He provided after care instructions and after about 2 months I called to see if I could get a hoop put in instead of the stud. He advised against it and told me why and recommended I wait 4-6 months and I appreciate that honesty. They could have made money with me coming in and buying more jewelry to replace what I have but he put professionalism first and let me know why replacing it too early can be a bad idea. It is almost at the 6 month mark and I will definitely be going in to get the new jewelry from them and Cooley. I have not gotten a tattoo there but if you are looking to get pierced I highly recommend checking them out. Read Less

Horrible!! Took my 16-year-old daughter here to get her belly button pierced and the lady that does the piercings here was so rude and unpleasant. I had many questions as a parent would have and since we did not bring the "proper information" with us the lady refused to do the piercing. I told her I understood her policy and thank you. Then she proceeded to come at me in aggressive manner and lecture me on why she couldn't do the service and law suits etc. she said bring proper identification and she would do the service. I told her thank you but we would not be back to their location due to her poor attitude and aggressive manner with me. As we were walking out she then proceeded to tell me that no other location would do the piercing without the proper identification. I rolled my eyes said thank you again. We left there went to a place a mile down the road called modern mods at arrowhead Mall who then completed the piercing service for us and both ladies were very pleasant and sweet to deal with. I took my daughter to S.S. Tattoo to get her lower lip piercing. Upon first impressions. The shop was very clean and organized. The lady that did my daughters piercing was very professional and very detailed on giving us aftercare and if she really wanted to have her face pierced. I've been in a few tattoo places but I think I'd highly recommend  this place cuz the staff was very helpful and very professional in the way they conducted themselves and was very helpful on answering our questions we had. I got my second tattoo here with my mom and even though I had gotten one before I was super nervous. Our artist did a great job! So glad we decided to come here. You can tell everyone there is very passionate about their job and that's important. The only thing I'd suggest is opening the needle in front of the customer. I didn't realize it until today since i was anxious and i know that's important. I don't think it's anyone's fault in particular, they have a certain dude there that preps the area so that's probably just how they do things. But the shop is extremely clean and you can tell they follow guidelines to the t so I'm sure when the guy prepping the area, it was done then. First of all my Rating isn't at all meant for the work they do! In fact the piercer that normally took care of me is a very cool guy! Sadly he wasn't there today! So it all started today, I walked into the Shop because i needed my piercing beet changed out. I walked in with my Son and there stood this blond older lady ( hair about shoulder length) in the front of the shop. The first thing that i noticed was how she gave me this judgmental look because i brought in my 7 year old son with me. ( Yes i brought him into the store because he was out of school today and my son goes pretty much everywhere with me because he is my responsibility and he is also a very well behaved child). Anyways i let it slide and said Hello! Well i didn't get a hello in return which in my Opinion is very rude especially if you work where you have to deal with Clients which are customers! What ever i let that slide as well! So i approached her and ask if the piercer was in. She, i guess did not understand my question or my slight accent which isn't heavy! She looked at me rude and ask Piercings? ? No, I do know you guys sell piercings because you are in fact a tattoo and piercing shop!! She turned around after i corrected her and ask again if there piercer was in. Some other guy told me he isn't in today. I left and while we started driving my son said : " Mommy this lady wasn't very nice in my opinion". Sorry i am not normally a person that writes bad reviews but her attitude needs to be adjusted in my opinion! Needles to say i went to another Place to get my Frenulum beet changed out. I've thought they've been closed for the past 2+ years ugh, they were open!!! So instead of just piercing me and taking my money he checked that out for me first! Super awesome experience! The jewelry is a little pricey but my ears are sensitive and I don't change it out often so it's worth it to support good people! We were also greeted by 3 different men when we came in ! I highly recommend going to this studio! I had no tattoos and no piercings besides a basic ear piercing (which was done when I was 6 years old). Yesterday, I stopped by to meet Cooley and he was extremely helpful. He answered all my question and then some by helping me choose a ring that would heal my peircing well, examining my naval to fing the perfect spot to pierce, explaining the streralization process, and giving excellent tip for preventing infection. Cooley has done hundreds of piercings, so my little nose hoop wasn't much of a challenge for him.  However, the customer service was outstanding!  He warmly greeted me with a smile and an outstretched hand. He continued his warm welcome by helping me pick from what looked like hundreds of nose hoops, and we quickly narrowed it down to the perfect hoop.  He then took me back to his "office" and successfully engaged me in small talk, continuing to make me feel valued and comfortable.  The piercing was very easy and quick.  He talked me through the whole thing and then like a fatherly figure would do, told me how well I did. Owen wasted so much of our time that once he was finally ready, we got lucky and a recent customer of his came in asking if he (Owen, the artist) would pay for his laser removal. That's right, after saying we would be done in two hours, he hadn't even started in three hours. Then stopped to talk to yet another person who luckily saved us from a lifetime of regret. At the same time, the owner ,aaron, ended up having an opening. I asked if he could sketch a simple boat for my forearm, as long as it's original. He has his drawing done in ten minutes, comes back up front and I say "I like it, let's go." Right then, my husband has decided not to get a tattoo from Owen not only because of the other customer, but because now he didn't have time. So I put down a deposit and say I'll be back. While you do have to give a $20 cash deposit, they do have an ATM inside and you are allowed to pay the rest with card (debt or credit). After our recent 6 hour session, he asked my opinion on the outcome. I told him I loved all but one aspect. He thought carefully, then agreed to make a change.
