I just recently got my second tattoo here by Jessie after my pet passed. I decided to go back to him because he is a creative and talented tattoo artist. I was able to give him general ideas on what I wanted and he delivers more than I could have asked for. I'm beyond happy with his work and am already considering having him work up another piece for me. For those new to tattooing don't be overly focused on the outline they always do a great job filling I the detail and producing Amazing results. Jessie is great, I was in Arizona for a week and my friends and I all got tattoos. Great experience from the inquiry I made, to the artists response and booking. I have a medical condition where I have lost the majority of my hair and was looking for a shop/artist willing to tattoo my head and they were one of the first shops to respond in a timely manner. I was put as ease by Danny when he said that the artists I inquired about were ok with what I was looking for. I had a hard time choosing an artist when I looked through their portfolios, which should say... something about the talent there. The atmosphere is very relaxed and chill, which I love. Honestly the best experience of my life. Before coming here, I had an unpleasant tattoo experience at another shop. I know it's probably a little taboo to review your work place, but I just can't help it.This is the best tattoo shop I've either at and I've worked at some incredible ones (Electrik Needle and 2nd Street Tattoo I'm looking at you) I have all the freedom and support I could ever ask for with my own private room in a beautiful studio that used to be a dental school.I won't be leaving here for many years to come. The artist even redrew the stencil for me until it was JUST right :) After my tattoo I had a slight panic attack and the owner and my artist (im so sorry I can't remember their names, I was out of it) took such amazing care of me! Such an amazing job, i read the other reviews, i thought maybe i was just a lucky one who got such an amazing experience there but it seams others can relate and they are pretty close to how mine went, anyways i am on vacation here from Wisconsin i knew i really wanted to get a tattoo while i was here so my sister brought me to karma despite the multiple tattoo shops i saw just driving threw the city. Probably five plus. I guess i had really hardly a clue what to expect though giving the fact i only had three tattoos walking in. I am a complete newbie to tattoos, just got my first one here yesterday. It could not have been a more positive experience from start to finish!  Kirk is just the best!  He made me feel at ease, he interpreted and executed exactly what I wanted (way beyond my expectations, in fact), and the result is beautiful.Had been thinking about this for a very long time, decided the time was right, did a lot of research, and tried one other highly rated shop first.  Never got as far as the tattoo, thank goodness, because the situation was not a happy one.  So I researched some more, and when I first dropped into Karma, I instantly felt comfortable (perhaps not so easy for a mid-60s grandmother of five in a tattoo shop!)  When I returned for my appointment with Kirk, I had a sketch of what I had in mind, done by my 13-year-old granddaughter, and he took it and just upped it to a higher level that still matched the spirit of what she had created.I felt a little self-conscious about even the idea of a tattoo, partly because what I wanted was small, simple, and nothing an artist could add proudly to a portfolio or  make a lot of money from.  However, Kirk made me feel as if my artwork were just as important as anyone else's, and put tremendous care and time and artistry into the execution.   He was also very careful to ensure that I knew how to take care of the work so that it would continue to be just as vibrant when it heals. The price was also surprisingly reasonable, given the amount of time and attention I received. Could not recommend this clean, professional, attractive shop more highly, and Kirk is a true artist. I was excited to get my first tattoo and decided to come here since the reviews were so great. Everyone speaks highly of Dany and I know he specializes is smaller pieces so I decided to go with him. After waiting for a months plus to see him, I came in excited but sorta nervous. Dany had been really busy so we came up with finalized drawings the day of my appointment. He was really patient and worked with me to make sure the piece looked the way I wanted. When we finally got the design down it was near 10:00 but he is always willing to work well past midnight for clients.            Let me tell you, this thing hurt so bad! I got cramped and nervous after feeling a needle for the first time.  I might just be a wuss but I had the tattoo on my hip and it was not a pleasant time. Dany gave me all the breaks I needed and made sure I was feeling okay. I was psyched when we finished (nearly 3:00 in the morning) and I love it! The panda tattoo I got is so adorable and looks just like the one in the painting hanging up in my room. I may post photos later. It looks good after barely a day and is healing well. Dany and his wife (who works the front desk) are super sweet. I HIGHLY recommend this shop. And I know if I need touch ups or anything Dany will be more than accommodating. There are big-screens up front where you can chat with the artist and pull up inspiration/examples from the internet to show them your tattoo ideas. To make it that much better, EVERYONE who works there is beyond friendly and accommodating.
