I came to Eric with my first tattoo and his friendly demeanor and confidence as an artist made me comfortable with my tattoo experience. I had the pleasure and privilege of using Elena Do'Urden as my artist for my first tattoo, and let me tell you, I could not be any more satisfied with my experience!!! She is truly amazing. When designing your art piece, she fully listens and takes in everything you say. Every little detail. She worked with me on fully bringing my idea to life, while still keeping it to her flair. I get compliments on the piece CONSTANTLY, most common is everyone noticing the detail she put into the design. Elena is very professional and always got back to me as soon as she could. I live about an hour and 15 minutes away from the shop, so I was so happy that Elena was willing to work with my weird schedule and availability to make this happen. Jose is the best! He is very professional and has a great personality that helps people relax and he works around the customer to help them. He has a great eye and vision for tattoos but also keeping what you want. I have 5 tattoos (for now) all done by Jose I give him my idea and tell him to make it his. Let me start off by saying, I have been tattooed by many great artists on all parts of my body. I don't have much space left. I ran into Chris from Evocative at the AZ Tattoo Convention this year in February. His color work is off the charts. I had to get a piece from him. I came into the shop a few weeks later, and Chris remembered me from the show and what we talked about. I decided to get a large neck piece. We scheduled the appointment and I came in this last weekend. Chris had many different references for the work I requested. We talked about it, decided on placement, size, and style. It was perfect. The work was top notch. Let me be clear, this is the best tattoo I have ever gotten. That is saying something. He was quick, fluid, and very detailed. I couldn't be happier. Chris will be finishing my neck and any other tattoos I decide to get. He even answers my texts about questions with healing! He even calls me to explain things. This guy is awesome. The guys there are really nice and they seem to really be a family. When it came to the type of tattoo I wanted... unfortunately I didn't get what I wanted. I showed him a picture and it didn't look similar at all. It was more of a cartoon than realistic. I'm not saying he's a bad artist, that's the type of artist he is. I'm just saying it wasn't for me. I ended up having to go to someone else to fix the work and I have done 2 session to fix and I have 2 more until it's fully completed. I also felt that he charged too much for only tattooing for 10 years, but this is all an opinion. I'm not giving them a bad review. I also have to take responsibility for not standing more my ground.
