Yesterday I received my first ever tattoo from Chuck at Ace Tattoo, and I couldn't be happier!  It wasn't just any old tattoo, it was a post-mastectomy tattoo to commemorate the journey I had traversed.  I spent two months exchanging emails with Chuck and his wife Mandy, to convey what I was hoping to have tattooed, so that Chuck could create the design for me.  Through our emails Chuck was able to perfectly transform my vision into beautiful reality, and yesterday he lovingly and professionally tattooed the outline of that reality onto both of reconstructed breasts.  It was an absolutely fantastic experience, and both Chuck and his wife Mandy, as well as all of the staff at Ace Tattoo, were absolutely wonderful to work with.  I'm already looking forward to the outline healing, so that I can return to do the coloring with Chuck.  I highly, highly recommend Ace Tattoo to everyone, and especially ladies seeking post-mastectomy tattoos! I wish I could give them 10 stars. I just got my septum pierced here and it was so quick and painless. It actually took longer to screw on the jewelry than the piercing itself (tiny balls are hard to work, lol).My piercer, Chase was fantastic. John Tervo is my tattoo artist, hands down. After he did my first piece, I was hooked. He's a very fast communicator and he's does great stuff! One time he quoted me a price and actually charged me less which blew me away. He's super detailed in his line work. He specializes in Disney and traditional pieces but he tattooed an album cover that had water color and he NAILED IT! He is extremely good with color. Very quiet, I get intro to vibes, but that just shows that he likes to be concentrated. He makes sure you feel comfortable while getting a session done. I came here to get a second ear lobe piercing just above my first, and the guy that did mine (I forgot his name) was very nice and let me take any last decisions about if I want this piercing or not. He made sure I was happy with the spots they were going to be (which he marked with a little ink dot). The people there are very welcoming and friendly. They don’t try to rush you with your money or piercing. This place is a lot cheaper than most ear piercings yet has better quality! This is an amazing shop the two piercers are incredible Chase helped me out recently by putting new jewelry in my septum. They are so so gentle and have never hurt me changing my jewelry out or fixing a piercing when I've needed it fixed. I love this place they're very friendly and actually talk to you! I've been to some crappy tattoo studios around the area and had some piercers be very rude and hurried but this place is not like that. I highly reccomend one hundred times over. Also they're extremely affordable here I got new dermal jewelry 2 dermals,two nose rings a stud and hoop and chase put them all in for me a new septum jewlery, and it was 60 bucks normally the dermal themselves are 20 bucks a piece. We came in one Friday night a few weeks ago to get our daughters ears pierced she was 4 months when we got them done. I'm so glad we came in and didn't go to some crap place in the mall. I sent an email about a week and a half in advance to see if I could get myself an appointment with one of the guys I had an interest in with his art work. I got an email back the next day and we started discussing what we could work with and when I came down to prices, I felt like I wasn't getting what I could be getting with that price. I mentioned another idea that would end up being less of a price and not only did the artist fail to return emails in a reasonable amount of time for planning wise, he never emailed me back. This shop is AMAZING. Went and got my nipples done here by Chase and could not have been more happy with the experience I've had! Chase made sure to calm my nerves and explain the whole process to me and when it came down to the actual piercing it was quick and relatively low pain thanks to his experience. This shop has been around since I was a rugrat, and I finally came in a few years ago with my brother who was looking for a rib piece. He and John partnered together for a beautiful piece and I couldn't help but come back for myself! He's done a small finger tattoo, a forearm tattoo, and quite a piece on my thigh that all are beautiful and often complimented. All of the artists I've seen have been inviting, funny, comforting and overall professional. I just got my first tattoo ever at the age of 55, if you can believe it, at Ace Tattoo & Piercing. My people and I each got matching themed tattoos ( #semicolonproject ) and as I've been thinking of getting a piece done on my arm at some time in the near future I figured this would be a perfect introduction. John was phenomenal; very professional, detailed in his preparation and cleanliness and engaging in discussing how I wanted the small piece to look. I wasn't really nervous but really didn't know what to expect, discomfort-wise. Frankly it wasn't at all that bad. Granted it's a small piece on my inner wrist but I can honestly say I'll be getting another one in the future.Ace Tattoo is nicely laid out, clean and all the artists are great.  Samples of their work can be found on the walls and in numerous albums located on the coffee table in the sitting area. This is my first time going to Ace and I had an amazing experience. I got three piercings done; two second lobes and a conch. All for $70. This shop is very clean and all of the artists were polite and professional. I got pierced by Chase. He was very comforting and helped calm me down before getting pierced. I got my daughter's ears pierced here. I highly, highly recommend visiting a reputable piercer rather than going to someplace at the mall that uses a piecing gun.All equipment was sterile, the piercer wore gloves , and had experience piercing small children. I love the look people give us when we told them we took our 2.5 month old daughter to a tattoo shop to get her ears pierced! We knew we didn't want to get her ears done at the mall so we did some research and found that tattoo/piercing parlors were the best. Ace was one of the few shops around that will pierce infant ears and I am sooo happy we did them here! The piercer (I'm awful and didn't catch his name) literally took less than two minutes to pierce both her ears. They look wonderful and they haven't bothered her at all.
