Without question Clean Slate turns out some of the best work Alaska has to offer. There is nobody I would recommend more than Mindy and her crew. Not only are they amazing artists but their professional, easy to talk with for hours, creative beyond belief and understand their clients. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't have any idea of how tat shops use to be especially in the Valley and their probably spoiled, pretentious little know-it-alls who've watched Ink Masters or read Pinterest and think their all of a sudden  experts. My brother and I are from the Lower 48 (PA & NC). We were here visiting and decided to get the ultimate souvenirs! We worked with Jordan who has an incredibly creative mind and amazing artistic ability. He brought to life exactly what my brother wanted! He worked with me combining several ideas and coming up with a great tat! The staff were all super friendly and the shop was spotless. All equipment was sterilized which was very comforting. I've worked with Jessica twice now, and she has been a love! The first was a set of matching flowers on both forearms. At the time they were my second tattoo, and I am so grateful that she put up with my dumbass being so squirmy in the chair for the whole session. My second tattoo was my first coloured and shaded piece right above my right ankle, and it is GORGEOUS. Makes me happy to wear skirts and shorts to show it off! I am so impressed with Kenzi's work. Let me tell you, I have had ink done by other artist's, some were good and did great work, and some not so much. My girl Kenzi... has floored me with her talent. I chose her for my most challenging tattoo. A very large scar with uneven texture and color. I went in with realistic expectations, honestly not expecting to much, thinking that my scar would still be noticeable to me. The lines. The coloring. EVERYTHING is just on POINT. I honestly cannot stop looking at my tattoo in complete amazement. During our session, Kenzi made me feel as comfortable as possible, and dare I say it was a pleasant experience. I still have yet to get some ink done by these guys, but honestly, I have not seen a bad piece come out of there....ever!!! My employee just came back w a chest piece that is on point! The employees were rude, talked poorly about previous customers by name in front of me and mocked past clients. Acted like it was a bother to adjust the tattoo I was getting.
