While waiting to be pierced, I heard a girl speaking to one of the tattoo artists and he was so kind and professional as she explained her idea. I took my 9 year daughter here to get her ears pierced. I always thought that I would take her to Clair's, but after reading the reviews I decided that I'd take her to The Hole Look. Blake was amazing with my daughter, he carefully explained everything that what happen, explained all the tools he would use, and ensured she felt comfortable. Awesome place for both tattoos and piercings. I've gotten multiple piercings here over the years and it's been a great experience every time. The studio is clean and comfortable so you don't feel like you're in a hospital or somewhere like that. The staff is friendly and professional and will answer any questions or concerns you have. The pricing for both the jewelry and the piercing itself are very reasonable. Right now I'm working on a tattoo with James and he has been fantastic. He is very detail-oriented and works hard to ensure you're 100% satisfied with what you're getting. I gave him some reference photos of what I had in mind and he sketched a beautiful unique piece. He's fun to talk to while he's working and he tells you exactly what he's doing so you know what's going on. The Hole Look is the only place I will go to get anything done in Anchorage. Haven't gotten a piercing in a long time, and the piercing I wanted was not for the weak of heart if you get my drift. I have 10 other piercings and 7 tattoos but finally got my nose pierced yesterday from here. I have had all of my things done in Oregon so I had no clue on a safe/clean/experienced  studio so I asked around for the best shop and this place came highly recommended. I knew exactly what to look for and what I wanted in a studio to pierce me. This place had it all. Knowledgeable, clean, high quality jewelry, accepting atmosphere, no judgment, helpfulness. The lady at the front desk was incredibly nice, helpful, and clearly very knowledgeable. While I was waiting I heard her talking to other clients and gave the same respect to anyone who walked through the door. My piercer was fantastic. The place smells like a hospital (that's a good thing). Everything is incredibly clean. She had welcoming calming music on. She was sweet, relaxed, calm, and over all very helpful. Even after all my body modifications I still get nervous. She handled me with care and made it super fast and easy. She didn't make me feel weird or that I didn't fit in.
