I had a great artist, Megan, who took care of me with my first tattoo. Her work is amazing and I would definitely recommend her. I love the atmosphere and the artists. A word of advice though: don't be a walk in. It is a walk-ins welcome shop but I had to wait 5 hours before an artist was ready. World class shop with great artists. I stopped in to talk to Jeff about some traditional Japanese work I want done and ended up sitting for a piece by the walk-in artist Trey. Trey did a great job, was very thorough and professional, I am very pleased with my experience! I went in to get my very first tattoo tonight, was very nervous but they were very professional and walked me through the entire process and helped me feel much more comfortable! The artist were very experienced and answered my hundreds of questions! The environment was also extremely clean, which was a huge factor for me. First of all we waited over 2 hours before going to counter to talk with a tattoo artist. When we finally got to talk with a tattoo artist he asked us what we wanted to pay. Then he informed that the tattoos start at $60. Why ask what the budget was then. We wanted a simple tattoo. When we told him that we didn't want to pay that much for a tattoo he was very rude and slammed the chip board on the desk and told us to have a nice day with a nasty attitude. Went for my daughters first tattoo. was amazed at how clean and sanitary the shop is. my daughter is very quite and nervous showed a picture of lotus she liked. but again to nervous to speak up with his stern look at pic, that she wanted more feminine delicate version. i explained he was thinking on what the best version would be for her body and personality. i got a scared thoughtful look. i told her to let him draw it if she didn't like it we could walk. we entered the room he asked a few questions and he begins to free hand a lotus on her ankle in marker. he finishes and asks what she thinks. she teared up it was exactly what she wanted only better. he began tattooing and continuously glanced up and asked how she was doing through the whole process and calmed all her fears. the tattoo finished looked amazing so happy he took the time to talk to her for a 45 minute tiny tattoo and treating it as a large piece. love the pride and love they show in each piece. thank you josh for sharing your talent to world and i will be back soon to talk about a cover up for me. I can't put in words how pleased I am with my experience at revolution. They were super helpful and made sure I got paired with the right person for the tattoo I wanted. Got a tattoo here on a walk-in. Meagan was wonderful. If you want to get a same day walk-in get there at 3:45. Only giving 4 stars because they had an artist quit and Meagan was alone. She was answering phones, dealing with walk in customers all while trying to tattoo. Love their facility. Everything is super clean. Megan did my rib tattoo a few weeks ago, and it is perfect. The lines are crisp, the wording is in the handwriting I requested (my friend and grandfather's handwritings), and it healed beautifully. I know I made it a little difficult for her by shaking and tending up a little too much, but she was very professional and helped me stay calm. Got my first tattoo last night. Was a bit nervous but my daughter was with me. Kayleigh did a great job on my simple tattoo----and she did it so fast I barely felt a thing. No complaints at all. Had to wait a good while but that's to be expected when you're a walk-in. I guess the only "complaint" I have is that when they ran my card there was no place to add a tip and my daughter suggested I ask afterwards to run it again for a tip but I was excited and I forgot. Josh Keyser Art is doing some amazing work on my full sleeve. I'm absolutely loving everything he's done so far. He's taken my idea and drawn it up with his own artistic flair, and to be honest, his interpretation is better than I had imagined. This entire sleeve is a memorial for the buddies I lost in the Army with the 82nd Airborne. We lost over 20 guys. I only put 5 of them on the headstones because, well....you can't fit them all. But the entire sleeve is for them and as ...a "I love me" tribute to my service as well. Can't wait for it to be finished. Might take another 6 months to complete, but it will be well worth the wait. If you're thinking about getting a tattoo, I highly recommend going to REVOLUTION INK. They are super nice and not intimidating like some of the other shops I talked to before visiting them. Seriously cannot say enough good things about this place, and about Josh. I was tattooed by Josh in the beginning of March, and my tattoo is all healed now. He is professional, reasonable about price and SO talented. I have a low pain tolerance, and even though by the end I was squirming almost out of my chair, he was completely understanding and nonjudgmental. He made me feel as comfortable as I could possibly be, even carried on conversation to help take my mind off of it, ...which is something I value in a tattoo artist. After researching for the right artist to fit the needs of my first tattoo I came across Revolution Ink. I couldn't be happier I picked Kayleigh to do it. My boyfriend came to josh keyser for a half sleeve recently in two separate sessions. Josh was so professional in his email and face to face communications. He was prompt, polite, and concise. He listened to what David wanted, looked at some of our ideas and very rough sketches, and he absolutely blew it right out of the water. The design was perfect, and he was very conscious of sterility while prepping as well as when actively working on david. The conversation between all of us was easy and passed the time. The entire experience was stellar. You would be crazy not to come to Revolution Ink if you are looking to get a tattoo.
