This was my first visit here...Went in to have my daith pierced as a last option for helping my migraines. Adam did my piercing and was very patient & professional. He did an awesome job! I hate my ears being bothered but he was great. Planning to have him do a cover-up for me in the very near future and if I decide on another piercing I'll definitely have him do it for me. I came here for my first tattoo and I had an idea of what I wanted but I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted. Adam was very patient with me and did an amazing job on my tattoo, it looks so much better than I thought it would! While I was there my friend also got her nose pierced and they did an amazing job with that. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere to go. I got 3 of my tattoos at Night Owl. Adam has done 2/3 of my tattoos and I followed them through three shop transitions (two in Sumiton, and Jasper). My last visit there I was treated very poorly. I was told to wait, so I did. I got there well within the operating hours. I wanted to do a custom piece, which I am aware takes a little more time. I was understanding about them having other work lined up ahead of me. I was told to wait for service and that they would be with me within a 2 hour time frame. I waited the time just to be told they couldn't start even drafting because of it being close to closing time. It literally took under 10 minutes for Expert Ink to do a draft for me. I even got a better price. If I would have been told earlier that they had too much of a workload to do anything for me tonight that would have been acceptable. I would have tried to make an appointment to come back. I understand the artists and everyone have busy lives, but it is completely unprofessional to drive away a repeat customer ESPECIALLY after having them to wait for so long. I also overhead them talking smack about me in the back. I will NEVER go here again. I'm telling all my friends to conduct their business elsewhere also. Read Less

Poorly managed. Got there at 7, talked to the trashed out James Franco looking ass dude in the front for about 30 mins. Picked a design and he told us there would be a 2 hour wait. I asked if we left and came back within 2 hours if we could still hold our place in line. He said yes. We came back in 1 hour and 40 mins from that verbal agreement. We were told that they let someone else go ahead of us, which was understandable. We waited in there for about another 30 mins and ab⋯⋯out 10:02 out comes methed up looking James Franco saying that they wouldn't be able to do it tonight due to it getting close to 11. We tried to argue and seek a compromise due to our jobs. To see if we could pick out the fonts tonight and make an appointment for a feasible time for both party's. He went to the back and told the "boss" and I over heard the "boss" say this "she's done had half her work done here so you know she will be back, just tell them to piss off" out comes Mr Franco again to tell us in a different manner, with a tad bit of faggotry attitude in his voice. And again we said can we not atleast get the preparations out of the way? He cut my gf off and said "you need to understand the artists are busy" in a rude tone. Of course I've seen enough of this white trash business and told my gf let's go to expert ink. And this dude said yall go do whatever you want and walked past me looking down like a little bitch. � my gf has gotten all her tattoos through them and after a long conversation I talked her into using the guys I use. We got here, told them what happened and everyone here literally agreed to let her jump ahead in line and we got treated very awesome here. I would recommend expert ink any day. This shop is amazing! Adam was able to see me twice on a short notice for piercing issues. This last time was a little more difficult but he took the time and got it fixed. Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone! Read Less

I have suffered off and on all my life with migraines. The last two years after receiving concussions two different times my migraines were daily. Debilitating at times. 3 weeks ago Adam did my daith piercing. I got immediate relief! It is healing great and I hate I didn't do it sooner. The shop is very clean and professional and friendly. I have had my last three done here, and Adam did a great job. Came in last year wanting one of my flags, and Jay made it work perfectly. The ones Adam did last night are awesome. I had him do a cover up on one of my very first tattoos, and he came up with an even better tattoo than the one I was looking at a yr ago. These guys are great! Love stoping in and checking the place out. It is a very clean well set up shop. Nothing like it around jasper. I have had work done by multiple artists there and love it all. Pricing is awesome for the quality and time they put in. I never walk out thinking I got the short end of the deal. Definitely check them out when you shopping for new tattoos. Read Less
