The 2 tattoos I had put on Saturday, Aug 6, 2016, are my first. I got them to honor my wife who passed away July 3, 2016. Greg did an outstanding job. He made sure the designs were in the location I preferred. I know I will going back to see him in the future. I posted the paragraph above almost 2 years ago. I made an appointment with Caroline, when it was time for me to arrive (I live 40 mins away) Caroline wasn't there on the day she scheduled me. Now she was having some emergencies I understand that fully so a man suggested another artist okay cool but I wanted Caroline so I asked for my 100$ deposit back concerning she wasn't there to even do my tattoo. The man hesitated and told me he's been having to give lots of people's money back and he can't do it anymore but he will... Well I told him I paid with a card if that helps so he contacted Caroline she contacted me apologized but only gave me 50$ back when I deposited 100$. Awesome place! Greg is amazing! Haven't had anything personally done by anyone else there, but I've seen the results on other people and it's always special. Fantastic experience! Greg Ross was my artist, he was able to squeeze me into his schedule last minute to do my piece. Jason Brown was incredible! I had a pretty strange tattoo from an artist in a different city & wanted to have flowers added to balance the piece. His artistry & professional input were well beyond what was expected. I feel totally confident in Jason's work! This place is great! It's a really big place and super clean. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the artists are all very personable and professional. Matt did my tattoo and it looks AMAZING!!! I am a big baby and HATE pain but he has a very light hand it really wasn't that painful. He books up quick but takes walk-ins on Saturday. I think most artists charge $100 an hour but you should asks just in case I'm wrong. But seriously, best $$$ ever spent. I LOVE my new ink so much! Read Less

I really like the Blue Rose Tattoo. It was recommended to me about 3 years ago after I get my first tattoo and I was very dissatisfied. I had my second tattoo done at the Blue Rose and absolutely loved it. Went in for my appointment with Jason yesterday. Huge racoon head with 3 roses on upper arm. The staff was friendly. Jason is an incredible artist that came up with a design that was beyond what I had pictured. We didn't get to finish it but so far it's great. I got a giftcard for Blue Rose for Christmas. Looking through the artists work I had a tough time deciding who I wanted to do my tattoo...all their work is great! I decided to go with Victor because I liked his style a little bit more and couldn't be more happier with my decision. I have known Greg since the late 90's but just got my first (and second)tattoos by him a few weeks ago, and I couldn't be happier. Trust Victor, Greg, Matt and Caroline with all your tattoo needs in Huntsville. They each have their own "specialty". Victor did a side piece on me, took 4 sessions to complete. This was my 2nd visit to Blue Rose. The first one was sometime in February of 2016. Vic did my first tattoo and I was very pleased with it. This visit, was with Caroline. Her art style falls along the lines of what I was looking for. I brought in a custom work and was hesitant about it. Of my 10, I got 9 of my tattoos at Blue Rose. This is the only place I recommend when someone asks me. They do some phenomenal work and the place is super clean. Been sorry since the day I had it done. wanted it bigger but they wouldn't do it bigger so now you can't read some of the writing. It has only been 4 years since I got it! As an artist, shop owner and tattoo artist, I would have to say Blue rose is one of the best shops in town hands down! I would never believe that any color came out of there work. I have seen nothing but great work from this staff. If anything I wouldnt recomend the artist at CMB at all! Blue rose has consistantly given great work to there clients.
