UPDATE: A year ago, I got a piercing at Stay Gold and had such a great experience that I went back for another piercing, three more new tattoos and a couple of touch ups. My most recent one was my very first color tattoo. Scott was the one the job fell to and I was pleased to find that same welcoming and clean environment also housed such a talented and personable artist. Scott did a matching tattoo for my sister and I while his coworker did my brother's. The coworker (who's name I didn't catch) was rather rude, but Scott more than made up for it. The lines are crisp and the watercolor on them is beautiful. I will definitely be coming back here to see Scott for my next pieces. If I could rate more than five stars, I would. This is my new favorite parlor. I got my rook pierced there a few weeks ago and loved it. First I came in to see the place and make sure they did piercings too and they are so clean, professional and charming. I'm from out of town and here with a friend and we wanted to get tattoos of good quality for a good price. We went to several other shops who quoted us double what they charged us at Stay Gold. I do not recommend this shop if Scott is your artist or consulting artist. He was very unprofessional and ultimately swayed us to leave and look for another tattoo studio with his poor attitude. I can only speak anecdotally about our visit, but we left extremely dissatisfied after speaking with Scott for roughly 10 minutes. If you do go, I highly recommend Justin or Basil, who we spoke with on previous planning sessions and were helpful. It's a shame Scott was the person in charge on the day we decided to schedule a tattoo. We left and went to Classic 13 Tattoo who was super helpful and gave us the service and tattoo we were looking for. Highly recommend Classic 13 if you have the same experience we did.Read Less
