I am here on vacation and had a botched daith piercing that was making me really sick. He did not hesitate to remove it even though I had it pierced in another state and he gave me some great advice. Got my first Tat when I was over 50. Matt talked to me the whole way through. Made sure I was ok and if I needed to stop or rest. I now have 2, Old man has at least 13 or 14 all by Matt (Loves showing them off) I recommend Stay Bold to all my family and friends. No one else will ever touch this skin. I've known the tattoo artists for many years and have watched Matt's skill progress extensively, as I still have some of his earliest work that we have not reworked yet, into the beautiful artwork he now produces! Stephen's work is very organic and quite awesome to look at. I met Vance earlier this year when we brought my daughter in to have her cheap wal-mart kit earrings replaced with body jewelry so they could heal, and he was VERY professional. Recently I had Vance do some work for me as well, and I couldn't stress enough how professional this guy really is. Very matter-of-fact when it comes to discussing what happens during healing time and what jewelry is best for that location. I think their shop hours are AWESOME, by treating it more like a business by offering decent hours rather than a quick-stop tattoo mill open til midnight. I as well, have known the artist for many years. Since the first time I met Matt Green, I knew he would be the ONLY artist to ever put ink on me again. I have 3 tats that were done elsewhere. I was given no opinions or warning as to how they would look "down the road." Those 3 tats now look like prison tats. The fairy HAD a face, but no one told me that as small as it is, the face would bleed together and eventually have no face. Not only that, but they have lost their color. Matt did go over one of them for me and brighten it up and made it look like a whole new tat. He will eventually be covering the other 2 completely, as I do NOT want another artists ink on me. My tats that Matt did for me years ago as well as recently still look fresh. I am asked constantly if they are "new." Someone commented below that they weren't clean.....HAHAHA....obviously someone who is just trying to stir $hit. Stop by the shop and see how clean and sterile they are. As far as the attitudes and friendliness of the employees; they are EXCELLENT. Nice, friendly and courteous. The one thing that most don't understand is, if the tat will bleed together over time, or will not look right in ANY way, they will let you know and will not do it. Not to be mean or say the design you chose is stupid, just simply so you won't be walking around with a jank tat and advertising who did it. Why else would someone turn away money. Would you rather give your money to someone who won't be honest with you? Then by all means, Stay Bold is NOT the place for you. Go to any other NASTY non-sterile shop in the Shoals area. You may be happy at first, but years later when yours looks like prison tats and SBCT tats still look fresh and bright; you WILL regret WASTING that money!!!! Love you Matt and crew.
