my experience with top notch has always been great all my tats from tom have turned out perfect! and the piercer alecia is super professional and friendly! if your nervous about a piercing she will talk you through it and make sure your 100% comfortable! all in all i love my tats and piercings received from top notch and wouldnt recommend any other place! Great place to get a tat, Tom is an amazing artist and can draw up any crazy idea that you can think of and make it even better than you had anticipated. I went to this shop on a referral from a friend that it was an amazing parlor. I dont know about the standard of the ink but the piercings obviously aren't the "top knotch". The piercest was too busy flirting(by way of trying to get a tip) to notice that he pierced my monroe with a decorative stud instead of the piercing stud. Not being a piercest myself I did not notice anything wrong until a couple of hours later when my skin was already trying to close over the top of the stud. I had to pay more money at a different shop to have the ring changed out. The ring he used not only caused an infection and more pain, it almost cost me the entire piercing due to the fact that the other piercest I went to told me had I waited another day it would have had to be redone AFTER is completely closed up.All in all...not a Top Knotch experience Read Less

this was my second tat. my first one at top knotch. i googled for local tat shops so i thought i would log back on and give him - as the computer says - his frist rating. this place was very clean. it only took a few minutes to have my sketch ready to go. word to the wise - it hurts to get a tat on the inside of your foot. but it turned out really good. he helped me with the placement - where it would take best. if you are looking for someone to hold your hand this is not the place for you. the atmosphere was that of a true tat shop. i did feel a little funny during this tat and they let me lie down and gave me a mint. it helped. so the guys (tat guy and piercing guy) know how to handle things that come up and love what they do. so keep it local - and check it out.dreamer Read Less
