Very clean, great work, good prices, very professional... I have a chest plate covered up about a year ago and unless u knew what was there before you wouldn't ever think it was a cover up. I've called several times trying to get help with reinsertion of a tragus earring. Initially I called on a Sunday and the guy said they would be open at 10 am on Monday. I showed up at 10 am, waited 45 mins and called several Times. Still no one showed up. Why have open hours but are not open to provide service? We had made an appointment at tattoo jungle in calera and comfirmed it 2 times through Facebook messenger. I had sitters set up for my 2 toddlers to get to the appoinment set for 12:30. When I got there artist said he was finishing up a tattoo and I would be coming up next. Instead of waiting until the others were done he stopped and we signed papers and he insisted I pay him the $200. I paid thinking i'd be coming up next. Sitting for almost 2 hours while he stops every few minutes assisting customers coming in, one customer informed me her and one more person were in front of me still. So I ask him about how long and he claims 20 minutes. So I sit back down. Meanwhile he's telling his current customer "Hell they all have appointments. Im going to take my time with them so you have to wait even longer." He finishes the first customer still 2 to go.. I no longer trust him working on me after hearing him talk badly about me. I tell him I wont be able to do it today because I'm on a time limit with my kids being watched. He asks "What do you want to do?" Considering I've driven over and hour to his shop I ask for a refund."We don't do that here." "What do you mean you dont do that here? I had no work done so I need my money back." He goes on to compare our agreement to a doctor's office appointment. I tell him my ride is already coming back to get me and my two year old has been in the car for 2 hours already and I rather go somewhere local. He still refuses refund. When I told I would call a deputy to assist in the situation he says that WE will go to jail. I was very polite with this guy the entire Time. I refused to reschedule appointment because at this point I no longer trusted him to do work after he had been so rude.  Spoke to an officer and was told it was a civil matter. As far as the appointment goes and him losing the spot, he was already running late and said he had 2 others on the way for their appointments refunding me would have did him a favor and put him back on schedule. So he just took $200 from me. $200 that I had saved for the only thing I was going to splurge on myself with. As a mom of 2 boys I dont get money often to spend on myself. Waited on Jeff for almost an hour before he showed up... he had problems with a rental car , he texted me a couple times giving me updates and when he showed up he apologized and got to work immediately sizing up my tattoo and gave me a discounted estimate because I had to wait so long. That’s what I call owning up to it!! He went to work on my tattoo and was incredibly accurate and I could not have been more pleased with his professionalism and artistry! :) I can’t wait to come back for another in the future. I've gotten several tattoos and piercings from Jeff and I would not go anywhere else. He's the only Artist who will ever work on me. He is friendly, makes sure your comfortable during your tattoo/piercing and he explains all of the after care. The atmosphere and staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. This place is clean and nice but I don't recommend going here for your first tattoo. I did, and the artist, "Jeff" is not personable at all and very rude. I didn't feel welcome and he did not like what I wanted despite how personal it was to me. They didn't give me very through cleaning instructions either. I was kinda on my own. I came back after a week for my checkup and he began to tell me "I told you you shouldn't have gotten that." And told me "don't come back until it's healed". Needless to say I will not be going back and don't recommend this place for a first timer, especially a 18 year old girl!! Pay a little more money and go somewhere a little more welcoming. Had a piercing done in February. Come June it's still not healing. Went by the shop talked to a woman who looked at it said just use H2ocean and it will be fine. 2 weeks later I went back speaking to the same woman. She again tells me it will be fine. Then tells me to talk to sketch . I stood waiting for 39 minutes waiting to see sketch and never did. I ended up walking out and going to tattpo expressions who is way more professional then the red headed woman . Come to find out my piercing isn't healing and it has keloid. I don't believe I will be returning to tattoo jungle.Read Less

If this is how they do business I wouldn't get a tattoo from them if it was free.. jerks and just too be clear I had $1500 to spend on a tattoo's for me and my wife... Then after he read the post he calls back wanting to meet at the shop now... The owner was very very rude, and I asked him for an estimate on a piercing and I felt like he forced it on me to get it done, of course I wanted it but he started shoving jewelry in my face and it made me uncomfortable. He charged my friend to draw out his tattoo making him pay upfront for something he didn't even know if he was going to like when it was put on his skin. He was just so so rude. Read Less

I went here to get a tattoo and I have never regretted anything more. I had the worst customer service I have ever received that night. I waited about 2 hours for Jeff (which is fine, take your time on your work) but when he finally got to me, he seemed all agitated, rushed and ready to go- so did his wife and child that were waiting on him. He took a total of 3 minutes to slap my tattoo on. It looked horrible. I text him to let him know that I was unhappy with how it looked later that night and he replys "Well that's why I asked you if you were satisfied before I wrapped it up." This place is god awful. Do NOT go here to get piercings or tattoos. I went to Tattoo Jungle back in October to get my tongue pierced (I did all the necessary research for aftercare, so I knew this was what I wanted to do). I told them what I wanted, but I found it very odd that they wanted to pierce my tongue with an ACRYLIC tongue barbell rather than a stainless steel one, and a tongue barbell that was a normal size, not the barbells that are purposely longer for when the tongue swells during the healing process. I found out that YOU CANNOT STERILIZE ACRYLIC JEWELRY. Our bodies are already not used to acrylic as well; had my tongue swollen any more than it already did, the tongue would've swelled over the piercing itself and the jewelry can only be removed through cutting it out surgically. I also had some issues with the customer service; I felt that the main guy, Jeff, was rushing me out the door and did a poor job of explaining the aftercare instructions (although thankfully I already had background information on that). As much as I told them I wanted a stainless steel tongue barbell that was longer than the standard one, they refused to pierce it unless it was acrylic. In the end, my tongue piercing turned out fine but I wish I had gone somewhere more professional to get it done. My friend also came here to get her belly button pierced and they pierced it crooked, which upset her; she also said that Jeff was being slightly rude towards her. I would give this tattoo shop 0 stars if I could. Do not go here unless you want to risk the chance of infection or a terribly done piercing or tattoo. Read Less

Jeffs been doin my tats and piercings for 16yrs. Now my daughters piercings.I have seen him work with ppl and myslf with price. Its always been worth it.He also has the best collection in custom body jewelry.Thats great for us b/c we r both constantly changing ours b/c its all so gorgeous and he still keeps us surprised on wat hes got in stock. Jeff has never disappointed my daughter or me so its time to let my daughter get her 1st tat.Love all the custom tats hes done on me and on other ppl.. I need cover up on one i got in georgia,AVOID THE INK WIZZARD!!
