On a whim, I decided I needed to get my cartilage pierced. I went to see Caroline at Against All Odds and she is absolutely fantastic! She got me in without an appointment and went over all the steps of the piercing process within 10 minutes of me walking in the door. Caroline messed up my piercing terribly. It was completely out of line with all the other piercings and I went in and asked for any sort of refund or for her to fix it eventually ( I realized I am going to have to wait 2 months now for this hole to heal to get it repressed) but she got defensive and was very unprofessional and refused to help in any sort of way. Definitely won't be going back here and will never refer my friends to get piercings here. I went to another tattoo place to get it fixed and they agreed to never go here for piercings. It sucks, but seriously bite the bullet and drive to Atlanta. You will get way better quality and they will listen to you where you want the piercing. 0 talent here and 0 professionalism. Read Less

If you want something pierced go see Caroline! She is awesome and so nice! She is quick when responding to emails and and patiently answered all of my questions. I wish everyone had her customer service. Once we got there for the appointment, she was thorough in explaining the process and was great at making small talk which I needed because sometimes I tend to get nervous when I'm not distracted. Her station was clean and organized and she has cute jewelry to choose from.  I got my Tragus and the person with me got their nose pierced. The piercings were the quickest part and she made it as painless and easy as possible. So far, I haven't had any issues but if I do I feel that she would go out of her way to help. I can't say enough good things about Against All Odds! The guys run a clean, "above board" shop, and do beautiful work. You know the tattoo shops that are full of arrogant pricks who emit the vibe that you're lucky to be in their presence? You won't find a trace of that here. Very nice clean shop. Everyone's portfolio is out for you to look at. Very up to date with technology. I came in on a Monday with a card from a loved one and Thomas made sure I loved it that it was the right size and dark enough. This was my daughter's first tattoo and was in remembrance of her grandmother that just passed away. Ryan was great! He listened to what she wanted and kept tweaking the drawing until it was perfect. I went to against Against All Odds yesterday to be tattooed by David. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and enjoyable to work with - I was pretty nervous with how badly it would hurt due to placement (I also haven't been tattooed in like, three years, and my first tat wasn't the best), however David was incredibly gentle and took his time to make me feel comfortable and to ensure that I was entirely satisfied with the design, placement, sizing, etc. I really enjoyed my experience and getting to know David as an artist! I came to get a traditional tattoo to add to my sleeve , and Josh definitely delivered! I've had multiple tattoo done by artists in The ATL, and this shop is on the same level, bringing you that experience to the Auburn area. The inside looks like how you would expect out of a traditional tattoo shop, and everything is clean and organized. I hate talking about prices, because you shouldn't be looking for a "deal" on a permanent piece of art, but their prices are more than reasonable. Even when you TIP them. Great experience all around. I've had about 11 tattoos done over a period of 5 years, all with mostly different people/places/states. I can say this place overall is my favorite so far just based on atmosphere. They used iPads for filling out the pre-forms and he used his own iPad to draw up what I wanted so I saw before even going back what it would look like and placement. I know traditional is comfortable but the higher tech was a nice change. Also, not having to worry abo...ut cash payment. The $3 to be able to use my card was well worth it. This was the first shop I've ever been to that wasn't cash-only. Moving on. The actual tattoo is great. It's better than what I came in asking for. I saw Ryan (Gage) and I'll definitely be back. He was very welcoming, not like way too many places/artists, and worked quickly, and again he came up with something way better than what I had asked for. I went today for a piercing and was almost sick with nerves. I was greeted immediately by super friendly staff which made me feel much better. Then, Caroline took over as the actual piercer and I couldn't have asked for a nicer person. She was wonderful--she calmed my nerves, explained the procedure very well, and gave detailed after care instructions on top of giving me her email address to contact if I had any issues and told me I could stop by any time, even if I just needed her to check and make sure I am healing appropriately. Great tattoo artist with a great imagination. After getting screwed with at voodoo, i came here.  Small shop and clean.  He had his portfolio out for anybody to see which is a huge plus.  I had a huge chest piece of a poem that i made.  He listened to every word and every idea i had.  He drew up sketches of designs for a better chest piece.  He was nice and not pushy just for a sale.  You could tell he cared about his work.  So he said he would make a more detailed design and to come back tomorrow,noting that i could come to him at any time if i wanted anything added or changed.  So next day he shows me what he put together and it was perfect.  The tattoo took about 3hrs and for the most part not a big deal till he hit the sternum. Great tattoo, great artist.  I recommend the shop to all my friends over voodoo. Read Less
