There is no doubt about it there are some talented tattoo artists here, however lots of time wasting when you are paying over £1000 for a tattoo it's your time. I've had 2 piecings done here- my first experience was wonderful; it was easy and done to a standard that I would expect, however on my return to get another ear piercing, i was shocked at how messy the service was, as well as how the piercer seemed to want me out as fast as possible despite my ear bleeding for around 15 minutes and swelling instantly as she was rough with her my ear since she dropped the jewelry and tried to find a new bar while still holding my ear. hit and miss for piercings i would say. Went into get my first tattoo yesterday with Gemma. She designed the most beautiful tattoo in memory of my childhood cat - which is handy with her love of cats too! I couldn't be happier!! Can't wait to go back again and get the rest of my tattoos done there! Read Less

Went to Gemma at Picture House to have some work added to my Bowie tattoo as I know she is a fan too. It couldn't have come out better. She made sure to get the size just right to fit with my existing tattoo and the accuracy of the lines is impeccable. I had my own design which needed a bit of work. Ralph took his time and made sure I was happy with what he'd done with the design. He then made sure I was 100% happy with the placement. The finished article is flawless, the handwriting is phenomenally neat. I can honestly say it's the cleanest tattoo I have and I will be going back there for my next design. Read Less

I have known the staff at Picture House since it's inception. On every visit I have always been treated with the utmost professionalism and integrity - there is nothing they won't do to ensure your tattoo is perfect. Upon reading the review by Liz above I feel that it is highly biased and quite unfair. I was also at the studio on that date, and the lady in question had changed her mind on what tattoo she wanted which is why the artist had to be changed. Her design went from a simple to a much bigger and more complex piece of work. It is a sign of a good studio that they bent over backwards to accommodate her last minute request, and spent time drawing up a unique tattoo just for her. She knew she was being tattooed by an apprentice, and happily signed a consent form. I saw the end result, it was a good tattoo! It was not faded, she knew the lines inside were a different colour. As for the language, I've heard worse in a corporate office! It's a lovely studio, like a big family who are always laughing. It's a shame some customers are just a bad egg. Read Less
