I had been thinking about getting my first tattoo for a while and had been to meet a number of different artists in a number of different cities, asking for advice on how to create my perfect half sleeve. All I had to go on were a few images and a Japanese theme. Instantly we began to collaborate and construct what is now, an exceptional piece of art. He’s not only a lovely man, well versed in his trade, but a true expert. It has been the biggest of pleasures being tattooed at Snake and Tiger and I will definitely be back for more. Chris Lambert has been working on a traditional sleeve on my leg for almost two years. I feel like he puts serious time and attention into each tattoo and is always happy to geek out with me about references and the history of the tattoos. I went to Snake and Tiger yesterday to get a tattoo done on my hand. I came out very impressed with the service I received. Chris is a very talented and professional artist, and I felt 100% in his care over my session. Everyone in the shop and studio were all very lovely and welcoming, and I really had no problem with getting booked in with a reasonable price, getting comfortable over the session, and came out with a very gorgeous tattoo that I'm all too eager to show off when it's fully healed. I first visited the shop around 2 years ago with a Japanese style tattoo I had in mind. Having done my research and looking at Chris Lambert's portfolio online I knew he was the right man for the job. This was my first tattoo therefore I was a little nervous however all of the staff at Snake & Tiger were wonderful and made me feel right at home! So much so that I was soon back in there for my next tattoo. I now have 2 half sleeves and I could not be happier with the work and overall tattooing experience at Snake & Tiger. Gareth has done 4 out my 5 tattoos and they are all amazing. I went to him with the ideas I had and he designed them. Whilst it may seem from his pictures that he only does certain designs he can turn his hand to anything and with the greatest care and attention to detail. He is extremely approachable and will always discuss with you what would work best. I am looking forward to my next tattoo in April and I'm sure it won't be the last.
