I came here two weeks ago for my 5th tattoo, which was my first from this tattoo studio. I could not believe the quality of the art or the friendly service I received and my tattoo is perfect. I was tattooed by Roy and booked through Sam, both made me feel welcomed, at ease and like I was simply visiting friends. It was only a small tattoo but Roy gave me the impression from when I first booked that he was excited to do it, which was great to see someone passionate about their work. I had my tattoo done by Holly... The whole experience was outstanding and Holly is a fantastic tattooist. I found Sam to be helpful and a good sense of humour which is needed when your pretty nervous. Holly was friendly and chatty but her work is amazing... Im so happy with the results.... Well what can i say? This tattoo studio is by far the best I've ever been to. I've now had my third tattoo done by Tony (half sleeve) and it's amazing! The Skinshokz team are like a friendly family who make you feel so welcome and relaxed (essential whilst enduring pain!) but they're so professional and knowledgeable. Sam is excellent on the front desk, she answers any questions and is realistic, telling u what will work or not work, so that u feel reassured from the start. I love this place, the vibe and the end result. Please ignore any negative reviews on here, I guess not even experts like these guys, can please idiots who enjoy moaning about life. Got tattooed at Skinshokz the very first time today .. Just finished off my gigantic thigh piece that was in progress for about more than a year now .. Got previous sessions elsewhere but Paul finished it off today by adding a 'compass' and a 'script' to it .. Couldn't be happier and couldn't have asked for more .. Paul did an amazinggg job on it . . the way he brought the entire piece together was awesome, no one can look and say it wasn't done in one session or by the same ...artist .. after Paul's addition to it, the entire thing flows ever better and fits my leg perfectly .. Paul even touched up what I already had in the piece and I am so thankful for that .. In all honesty, I was a bit scared to get tattooed by Paul :D bcx he is such a big & busy artist but he put me to ease instantly and so well .. also he is soooo humble I couldn't believe :) I have been to tattoo studios where busy artists, even the ones with 3 to 4 months waiting time, have a bad attitude . . But Paul, with about 18 months waiting time, was such a sweetheart .. he heard me, and worked 'with' me .. I felt involved that 'yes, it is my tattoo which is going on my body' so my opinion, likes and dislikes matter .. I have been to studios where artists don't bring your opinion on board and even pull faces if you ask them to move the stencil around a bit that you aren't happy with the placement . . Can't believe it is over already, it was a long day but went very comfortable :) also Sam brought me a Starbucks' hot chocolate, never saw a studio offering anything to client's like this before . . This is the studio where you will see them all highly professional yet very helpful and friendly .. even you yourself wouldn't be this much concerned .. but they are even more concerned that your tattoo should come out great and look perfect . . all the advice they give is authentic and on-point (so pls take it if you want a great tattoo) .. Ohh my god my foot and leg piece is well under way what can I say !!!!! This is thee place to be if your after a piece of artwork !!! The team are fabulous my man Roy is superb and his blonde sidekick Sam will cater for your every need even a bacon butty Looking forward to the next hundred hours !!!! However ........
