This is the best tattoo shop in Worthing by far, the staff are friendly and make you feel relaxed. Jason has done my first tattoo which is a full sleeve, his work is exceptional and is so knowledgeable with tattooing. He knows how to make the tattoo flow and look the best on your body. I had my first tattoo done here yesterday by Sarah, she was amazing!� I admit I was a little scared with mixed reviews on tattoos in general, but she was so reassuring from the point of booking my appointment, giving me tips and recommendations for before and after care if required. Terrible experience of this place – don’t even bother with them. You will be asked to pay a deposit significantly in excess of the alleged £30 quoted on the website (I had to pay £70), and if you are ill as I was you will either be expected to attend regardless (against medical advice) or lose your deposit outright which has now happened to me – all £70 of my deposit have been kept even though I was too ill to attend my appointment (and I gave them a day’s notice). I was tol...d that I would be expected to attend even when ill. I was also quoted £250 and 4-5 hours to have my tattoo done at South Coast Tattoo – I have since had it done elsewhere (brilliantly, I might add) at a cost of £90 and 2 hours work... You won’t see your design for your tattoo until the day you turn up for your actual appointment, even though you have to pay a big deposit in advance. So you have to hope you’ll like it, or you’ll lose your deposit. When you complain, you will be given a patronising reply about “how deposits actually work” and told that it’s tough, your deposit is forfeit, end of debate. Avoid this place and go elsewhere – this place does not inspire any confidence and you won’t be treated with any sort of value as a customer or concern for your wellbeing, you will be overcharged, they will ignore the information on their own website, and who knows what sort of hygiene standards they adhere to if they are prepared to tattoo very ill people in an open space who will be spreading germs around and will be putting themselves at risk. Just had Jason finish off my cover up of two old tattoos. The job he has done is amazing...far above my expectations. Really pleased. The good job done by the laser expert beforehand made Jason's job smoother. Going in with a awful tattoo done by awful tattooists also who have made feel really comfortable whilst having it done,I have now had it all worked on by Lewis and has made it so much better I'm a lot happier with it, made me feel very comfortable and happy to be there definitely would recommend anyone to go to south coast they are very welcoming not once did I feel uncomfortable I definitely will be going back to have more tattoos done. I came in for a tattoo today (10/8/2016) and I honestly couldn't be happier! The colours are AMAZING, the staff were funny and friendly. It was my first tattoo and I'm so glad I came here- such a comforting atmosphere with music and the staff really put me at ease. I came here for a football tattoo (I know...) for a non local team (if it makes a difference) and not only did Toni make the tattoo look presentable, but actually made the tattoo a thing of art, I gave him a basic design and he turned it into something that and I cannot stress this enough, was more of a piece of art. This place was recommended to me by a friend and I personally cannot recommend this place highly enough. Don't bother going anywhere else, from what I can see there are a range of artists than can help you either achieve your dream design or help you along the way.
