I can't stress enough what an awful experience it was to get tattoo'd at vivid ink Sutton Cold field. First of all, I went in to book my tattoo and straight away the man behind the desk which I think was called Josh (he was half cast, in case I'm wrong) was EXTREMELY rude to me. I printed out every picture I wanted my design to look like and took the time to write everything out on the sheet to be very specific with what I wanted and that Josh just said to me 'I can't believe you actually write that, just tell me what you want as I can't be arsed to read it'. Well anyway I told them what I wanted and booked my tattoo in with Mario. However I got home and noticed on my appointment card it said I was booked in with Ceco! I phoned up to see if this was a mistake and they told me Mario is fully booked up so I'll just have to go with Ceco. I still went along with it as I already left my deposit and noticed Ceco was also a good artist. Well anyway I went to the place to get my tattoo done. I specifically left my tattoo pictures with them so they could look at it and put my design together but that Josh told me he lost it. I couldn't believe it, I then had to spend 25 minutes going on my phone on Google images finding my photo's again so they could print it out. Ceco, who was my artist came over to put my design together although I soon realized he couldn't speak a word of English!! This made it extremely difficult to communicate with him. I explained everything I wanted but when he started the tattoo, he done almost everything wrong!! The original plan was I wanted a red rose with olive green leaves and a light and dark pink lily with olive green leaves on the SAME foot, which I told him. He tattoo'd a pink rose, with dark green leaves, so I had to tell him to change it. When he finished the rose he went to tattoo the lily on my other foot! I told him I wanted it on the same foot, he then called Josh over. Again, Josh was very rude to me and told me I should have told them I wanted it on the same foot at the start as now he can't fit the lily on (I did tell Ceco, but clearly he didn't understand me). In the end I just said to him I'll have it on the other foot. He then did the lily different colours (all dark pink when I wanted it light on the outside) and dark leaves. Also everytime I asked him to change the mistakes he would tut at me and shake his head, as if to say it wouldn't look good. After my tattoo's were finished, they didn't tell me absolutely NOTHING about caring for my new tattoo, I had to ask Josh what cream to use. I was absolutely appalled at the experience I had at this place and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I mean okay I admit, they have some good artists there, but just because they're good tattoo artists doesn't mean they can be extremely rude to customers and not learn a word of English which I think is VERY important in that profession as obviously he couldn't understand what I wanted, I mean this isn't me ordering a burger, it's something that's going to be on me for life so I kind of want him to know what I want!! So I ended up having a rose and a lily on both feet when I wanted them on the same, and not exactly what I wanted (different colours as he still couldn't understand me when I asked him to change).
