Went a couple of three times. Owner is a decent barber. Won't go back again though. Why? Closes early at times, also lunches appear to be taken as and when. Tried to get in on two different occasions,...
Went a couple of three times. Owner is a decent barber. Won't go back again though. Why? Closes early at times, also lunches appear to be taken as and when. Tried to get in on two different occasions, and both times I had quite terse response from a collection of people at the door, 'it's closing'. The word friendly seems to have slipped from the vernacular at this barbers.
If you advertise that you close at a specific time, then stick to it! And stop making people feel like they are inconveniencing you. Sorry, but this is how it made me feel.

Planned to get my first barbers haircut in about 10 years. I called in advance to see if I could book, to which I was told I can't, but just turn up. I said I would be there at 1 and was told that will be fine. After driving out of my way, I find out they are closing for lunch and will be back in about an hour (roughly). No notice of closing and all staff going on lunch or mention of it on the phone. What a wasted trip!

After having decided to to growth a beard a few months ago I decided I needed it trimmed as it was looking a mess. Went to OB barbers today and they were fantastic, clearly knew what they were doing and were very skilled. My beard now looks just how I wanted it to and the staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going back for a trim in the future

One of the best haircuts I've had! Completely screwed my hair up by dying it myself, came to these guys for the cut and got some great advise to sort out the mess. Decent guys and value for money!

Friendly staff who will ensure hair is cut to a very good standard. Have not been to another barbers since finding OB. Decent prices especially for students.

I've been going there for slightly more than a year now. Honestly one of the best barbers in Newcastle to get your hair cut. Good and clean atmosphere, great service. I do not know what the other 1 star reviewers are saying but the staff and owner, Ricci are great in cutting your hair to your needs and even better to have a chat with. Recommend 10/10

Tip notch trims! Rich always gets the fade spot on and is always inspiring you with new styles. Only place I'd go to get my hair cut and even just drop in for the banter. First class! 👌🏽😎

I've been using OB's for nearly 2 years now, I regularly go to get my beard tidied up and the lines neatened up - The craic is good, atmosphere is always welcoming, fairly priced and a bit of good adv...
I've been using OB's for nearly 2 years now, I regularly go to get my beard tidied up and the lines neatened up - The craic is good, atmosphere is always welcoming, fairly priced and a bit of good advice has stopped me getting in-grown hairs - Can't ask for more really.
Highly recommended!

Went a couple of three times. Owner is a decent barber. Won't go back again though. Why? Closes early at times, also lunches appear to be taken as and when. Tried to get in on two different occasions, and both times I had quite terse response from a collection of people at the door, 'it's closing'. After having decided to to growth a beard a few months ago I decided I needed it trimmed as it was looking a mess. Went to OB barbers today and they were fantastic, clearly knew what they were doing and were very skilled. My beard now looks just how I wanted it to and the staff were friendly and helpful. I've been going there for slightly more than a year now. Honestly one of the best barbers in Newcastle to get your hair cut. Good and clean atmosphere, great service.
