Went for a tattoo off Bella. Great atmosphere and very clean. I also liked that they're collecting food/toys etc for a local animal shelter. They cover a lot of tattoo styles and have guest artists as well. I will be back for another tattoo off Bella but I'm looking at the other designs as well. Been going to Northside in Whitley Bay and more recently in Newcastle since I was 18. All of the artists work to an exceptionally high standard. I would personally recommend Kayley Henderson as she did my Audrey Hepburn tattoo and has done an amazing job. I went to other shops and they wanted to do the typical images 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' etc. Kayley worked with what I wanted and has given me a beautiful piece which is my pride and joy. I would also just like to say that t...he staff at Northside are all phenomenal. They care. They work hard and they will always ensure that you leave with something they and you can be proud of. I've had one tattoo done elsewhere because I was inpatient and instantly regretted it. Had my tattoo yesterday with kayley, was chuffed to only wait a few months for my day booking as I know she is very sought after! Throughout these months kayley was constantly in touch sending over references and swapping ideas. The night before my tattoo I was sent the final images with a detailed description of how the focus points and selected flowers would compliment the overall tattoo. Words cannot describe how incredibly happy I am with the finished result. Truly incredible. Such a talented and professional artist. Had my first tattoo done by their guest artist Jenna really loved how it turned out, Jenna helped settle my nerves plus all the artists helped when i had a hiccup at the start. So many friendly and talented artists there and they made me feel so welcome was easy to chat with my artist and the receptionist ( Think it was Charlotte) while getting my tattoo. I wanted a tattoo sleeve in the memory of my mother who had passed away 16 years ago. Alan Lowther (Low) listened carefully about the woman she was and created a beautiful piece of work. Well, I've had two tattoos by Kayley Henderson - the first was her take on Flame princess from Adventure Time and then a leg piece that I asked her to design made up of characters that I love (I gave Kayley a bunch of ideas and she created a piece that is so much better than I could have imagined) and I'm currently getting a brilliant filigree tattoo by Wayne Hutchinson. I have quite a few tattoos by different artists in various parts of the country and I can honestly say tha...t I never met a nicer or more talented bunch of people in one studio. You're made to feel welcome as soon as you arrive by Charlotte and Oana and the artists are more than happy to discuss ideas to create something that you're happy with. What I like most is how much you can chat and get on with everyone there while the work is being done.
