Walked in yesterday morning for a tattoo, knew what I wanted, Emma was really helpful got something sorted for me and did the tattoo there and then. And then also my Boyfriend. Didn't have to book or anything. Just a chilled atmosphere and the staff are lovely. Having conversations as if we knew each other for a while, which is how it should be. Really recommend Hype. Went here with 6 of my friends today - they were so accommodating and lovely! They fit 5 of us in to get tattoos and one to get two piercings. So professional and kind, they let us keep our suitcases in for the day and sit on the couches while we were waiting. The tattoo was painless and we all got exactly what we wanted. Seemed like a decent place going in, however after two days my nose piercing completely sank into my nose and I had to go elsewhere and pay just as much to sort it out. Have read up that this only happens due to the fault of the person who pierces it for you - so probably wouldn't recommend here. Read Less

I came in today and got a mandala foot tattoo and a collar bone tattoo by Cal. Both came out absolutely amazing! It's great to go into a place where you can have the craic whilst getting a tattoo. All the staff were down to earth but Cal was downright hilarious. Would put anyone at ease if they were any way nervous � definitely booking trips to Newcastle just to get my tattoos in the future! Amazing piercing skills! Got two helix piercings there today (got £5 off for having more than one at a time. Lovely!) and the lass did them both in about 2 minutes flat. Clean, friendly and efficient. Never had a quicker or less painful piercing before despite having had multiple piercings. Can't praise this place or the skilled staff there enough!! Read Less

Fantastic job done by Emma this week, over the moon with it! Very nervous due to location of tattoo but all staff put me at ease from the start.
