Had such an amazing experience at nine lives, will 100% be going back because the amount of talent in one studio is astounding. This was my first time at Nine Lives in Hove and based on my experience it wont be my last. The studio itself is easy to find on a nice pedestrianised street, a warm welcome is there as soon as you step through the door and the team inside are knowledgeable and attentive. I went in for a cover up and had a very rough idea of what i would like, Ally then took my idea and just turned it into the most spectacular masterpiece. on paper i couldn't conceive how she was going to b...e able to recreate this in ink and if i am honest once it was complete it was even better than the drawing. The time flew by during my session as the team there are lively and provide a nice atmosphere to experience whist you have your work done. My experience was not that great and the tattoo i got now is even more upsetting then what it was supposed to cover up . I had been in the shop asking a few times about information and felt the customer service was frosty but i thought it might just be part of the cold emo image . When the tattoo was done it became clear that the hand drawn design ( i requested that my self ) was crooked. I went back the next day to talk about my issues with the tattoo and the reaction of the girl was so aggressive . She said it was not supposed to be semetric but at this point i would just settle for straight . She barked at me that she could fix it when it was heeled up and with that she just turned her back to me . The customer service was absolutely shocking , working with the public you would expect them to have a basic understanding of good customer service . it's unlikely that i will let her tattoo me again and the whole experience left me feeling quite upset . with the wide range of tattoo parlours in the area i would avoid this particular one.
