I was on a waiting list at another establishment for a consult and after five months with no updates and unable to get feedback I phoned Axios and was able to go straight in and have a chat with Ade. I had vague ideas of what I wanted but not how to put my ideas together to create a back piece. Ade first helped me research my ideas and suggested a tattoo style to look at that suited my thoughts. After a long but extremely helpful consult he created a back piece I totally love. You do need to have some trust in your artist and strangely enough I was able to put my trust in Ade's abilities and now am the owner of a beautiful piece of work. Very proud. Thank you Ade. Highest of recommendations for Axios. I have been tattooed by Ade a number of times, and love all the work he has done. Ade is great from the start off, he really talk's you through the consultation period and helps you visualise better by showing difference references from books etc. All my tattoo's by Ade have a Japanese theme, and Ade really knows this area. I always feel in very safe hands, knowing I'm getting a tattoo by someone who really understands their field. The new studio is really bright and welcoming. And the smaller environment makes it not intimidating at all. Ade and Nige are really friendly guys and make you feel totally relaxed, there's good music in the background and a decent cup of tea is always provided. It is really easy to get to from Hove station, a very short walk so convenient when you are coming from outside of Brighton. My personal journey to Axios is about 3 hours, but the quality of work is so good, it is well worth the journey!!Read Less

Can't recommend this place highly enough - I have been getting tattooed by Ade for the past eight years and wouldn't go anywhere else! All work from Ade and Nige is completely original so a consultation appointment is necessary and a great chance to get ideas and input from them as well. I love all my tattoos - they are all Japanese, which is probably what Ade is best known for, however he works in a whole range of different styles. The atmosphere in the studio is always friendly and welcoming - I am generally a bit of a wimp when it comes to a long session of tattooing but you always feel looked after and cups of tea are provided! The new shop is lovely - small and intimate but also bright, and easy walking distance from town. Worth stopping by just to take a look at their non tattoo work which is on the walls! Read Less

Opened recently by two very talented artists from Nine, Brighton, Axios Tattoo is an absolute breath of fresh air those of us that love being inked. The Studio is situated right next to Hove train station with very good links to the rest of the country and also (and very handy for me) there is ample car parking around the area. I myself, make a 230 mile round trip to the studio, and to be honest if it was 500 miles each way I would still make that journey. I have been tattooed by both Ade and Nige for over 12 years now, sometimes for 7 or more hours a sitting and have always felt welcome, safe and comfortable. The Studio is a very nice place to visit and be inked in. Always comfortable and mostly with great music on the stereo (Apart from when Ade puts Sound Garden on ;) ). The work you will get is fantastic, I can promise you that you will never walk away feeling anything other than very very happy and you will want to come back, probably sooner than your wallet will allow, I know I do! Axios only do custom work so expect to be the only person walking around with the work you get there. I am very careful about where I am tattooed regarding my safety, knowing there is no chance of picking up a pathogen or an infection due to the artist's knowledge and cleanliness is my number one priority. You can rest assured that you will have no worries in that department here. 5 Stars all the way from me. I can't wait for my next visit! Read Less

I had a piece done by Ade a couple of years ago. He listened to what I wanted, added constructive suggestions to create a beautiful idea. He then gave me the best tattoo I have ever seen (or had). His studio has the highest standards of cleanliness I have seen. I would highly recommend him and am saving for my next one for him to do. Read Less
