DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I got a second ear lobe piercing done here above my original ones and would never go back!! One had been pierced wonky so I went back and asked them about it the women was very patronising and acted like it was my fault and took no responsibility for it. She did take it out but when we went to get it repierced after 2 weeks she refused to do it saying we needed to wait another 2 weeks before she would even look at my piercing which had healed. Sent my partner to buy me a nose stud, who said the lady who served her was very rude and abrupt, just shrugged off everything she was saying. Asked for a nose stud and she gave her a stud that's used when a nose is pierced (massive). Not only that but charged £6 for it, I usually buy these for no more than £2. Anyone that works in a piercing shop should know that wouldn't go through a hole that had been pierced for a while. I called up to speak to the lady who told me my partner should 'try being more specific' and wouldn't refund incase it had been in my nose which is fair enough but a little bit of customer service can go a long way, I'm a manager myself and I'm not stranger to customer service skills, at £6 they would still be making a profit on giving me a new stud. If their work is anything like their customer service I'd steer well clear. Truely awful. Read Less

I finally got my nose pierced after 6 years of agonising internal debate, and I'm incredibly happy with it, so much so I went back a week later to get my earlobes done and I'll be back next week to get my cartilage done. The prices *may* be steep for some (especially since there are other places that do bulk piercing deals, but I wouldn't trust them for being so cheap and offering to do more than 3 at a time), however considering the quality of the piercing, and the peace of mind knowing it was done hygienically is totally worth it. Went to get my nose pierced today and as someone who faints when I get piercings I was quite nervous, but the girls at the shop were so friendly and helpful! My friend and I needed tattoos for a charity event that we were doing for university, and the people at intro were super nice and let us get them! Walked in with my partner for a spur of the moment small paper boat tattoo, ginge took on doing our tattoos. It all seemed fine and we were happy with it, until it was 'shaded'. The shading was awful and rushed. I understand it is a small tattoo however, it should not have been rushed. No matter how big or small, a tattooist should take pride in his work, I do not feel this was the case. I would not recommend the quality of the work produced. Read Less

Intro is a small body piercing and tattoo studio in a convenient location along Queens road, not too far from Churchill Square. I went here to get my tongue pierced. The staff are very friendly and make you feel very comfortable. I went in there to ask how painful it would be - a common question no doubt, and they gave me some great advice - go away, have a burger, don't think about it, then come and do it!They're very clean, very professional and as I said they do a good job of making you very at ease. Price wise they're very fairly priced in my opinion, having had other piercings before now. I've been back to this place regularly to buy new tongue balls and belly bars as I also have my belly button pierced. I think they have a good selection of body jewellery but not an overly excessive amount, however the prices in comparison to Punktured (in the North Laines) are a lot less. This is the only place I have had a piercing done in Brighton but I'd say the standard of the service is great. It's difficult to review a piercing place if you're getting something pierced that you haven't before as it's difficult to compare or know how it was supposed compare to other piercings... Saying that, my boyfriend has had his nipple pierced in this place after having it done previously at a different studio - the first time he had it pierced it never really heeled properly and he ended up taking it out, but since he recently had it repierced at Intro, he hasn't noticed any problems. All I can say that this is a decent piercing place and that the staff are very open and friendly with you and are always happy to give advice or answer your questions about anything so if you're trying to find a place to get something pierced I can safely say that you'll have nothing to worry about if you go to Intro. - Two years on and I've had no problems with my tongue piercing.. .
