I can't physically recommend this place enough! If you want a tattoo that's a piece of art you must come here - all of the resident artists are absolutely incredible. I've had three sessions with Jenna so far and I can't wait to have more, she is a true artist and so are the other tattooists. It took me a while to find but after doing plenty of research, I chose to come here. Everyone is so friendly. Tea on arrival and a relaxed atmosphere to try and keep nerves to a minimum. Very professional artists who do their best to make you feel at ease. Sometimes it's obvious you're gonna have to take at least one item of clothing off and I was a little worried but there was no need. There's a little toilet to change in and it's all very dignified. One of the lovely things about Gilded Cage, is that the artists are so supportive of each other. Their talents are endless and they cater for every style. I cannot express how amazing this studio is! About six years ago I had my entire back and arm tattooed by James of Gilded Cage Studio. It was my first tattoo experience and it was amazing. He and his team are wonderful people that will make you feel extremely comfortable and welcome. Besides James' obvious artistic talent I was amazed by his sound and delicate techniques of tattooing, which sometimes made it close to painless for me. Super friendly & welcoming, the team are simply the best & the shop itself is utterly divine.
