Chris is absolutely fabulous!!! Had my first tattoo yesterday and was terrified yet all the staff there where so reassuring and friendly towards me plus helped calm my nerves down to the point where I nearly bottled it!!! .... How wrong was I as it didn't hurt at all!!! Had my first (of many) full day session with Chris, a few weeks back. Everyone in the place is cool and friendly with zero attitude. Setting for a long sitting was nice and relaxed. Artwork? Honestly one of the best places I've been too. Greatest atmosphere I've experienced. A very professional and comfortable place. I find myself going here most weeks. Get along well with all the staff here I couldn't recommend them enough. Cannot comment on the tattoo side but I hope to return too get a custom piece. Im giving 2 stars because 1 seems a little unfair as the shop is nice inside, its artistically decorated, has a very pleasant receptionist. The studios look very clean and hygienic. The top artist is Chic and you'd be wise to wait for him. You'll probably be offered Jay, as I was. He really is quite rude, He lacks imagination and has got to be least enthused tattoo artist I've come across. It was THE most unprofessional, uninviting and unfriendly place. I came with an open mind and I didn't know exactly what I had wanted, hence why I wanted to have someone sit down and direct me. And you know what I got? Some guy (Jay, I believe) who CLEARLY wanted to get home just stood in the middle of the reception and was sketchy as anything. I asked him to do designs with me and sit through it: I AM WELL AWARE ILL BE WEARING IT. And all I got is a judgemental 'I can't do that' so when I said I could have my fathers friend could give me a design I got 'you know that's really disrespectful' well sorry mate, he's going to do a better job than you can. Literally ALL I wanted was to have someone sit down with me and say, 'yes I think this will work or no you know I think it won't... I am truly disgusted. What a joke. And yes I understand I need a main piece but for someone who doesn't know perhaps offering them proper help is appropriate. I have nothing else to say and honestly I can't express my disgust I'm just glad I didn't have him actually try to tattoo me, I'll be heading for the real professionals. Thanks. Read Less
