Today I decided to get my Daith pierced & for £25 it was a bargain. I was greeted in a lovely way into the piercing room which I liked as it was tucked away and very chill. It was very gentle and quick too, my mum also got her helix and was also gentle. I had researching about having a daith piercing for relief from migraines that I suffered two or three noticeable to others type ones a week and at least one debilitating a fortnight. So when Friday 13th came around and the offer of getting it done for £13 I took the plunge. I walked and asked if they had space which they did ( I also had convinced my friend to as well) we filled out some paper work then was introduced to Jaz who took us up to the piercing room it was all ver...y clean and calm. Jaz then asked what we were having it done for and I said about the migraines. She then explained the process and what she was going to do before taking out the instruments that were in sealed sterile packets. We lay on the bed and exposed the areas it was cleaned numbed (to what u can) and with deep breaths the pain commenced. I say pain as with any piercing u are going to have some this is cope able though uncomfortable to start. Once the jewellery was in it was a lot more comfortable. Was cleaned up instructed on cleaning procedures and once feeling able was released to go on our own sweet way. I am a quick healer and mine has healed in a week. I have felt the pressure of a migraine start to build a few times in that week but have had it amount to nothing more then a headache that I have been able to leave with out medical intervention. Didn't even touch the paracetamol that's a huge change for me. I am super pleased with the placement of my piercing and the relief it has bought.
