The whole team of the shop is so nice. I did two tattoos with Dave. They are always replying so fast to messages, which was great when I needed to postpone my appointment. Dave is very attentive and professional, and made everything to make me feel comfortable. I love the outcome of my flash (a skull tea bag). His work has strong black lines. I also noticed the work of their new apprentice and make me want to have one of her flash (she has a lot available). I will definitely come back. Read Less

I recently had my first tattoo done at Oxford Tattoo by Big Dave & want to say it was a great experience, especially for a first timer. After doing weeks of googling, seeing Big Dave's brilliant black line-work & my first telephone conversation with Marc I knew that I would definitely be in good hands even though it meant travelling approx 2hrs to get it done!! We worked together on my basic design for my cat & dog tattoo, best placement for my inner wrist area & throughout the whole tattooing process BD regularly asked if I was ok. I absolutely love my tattoo! Had lots of comments on how lovely it is & the high standard of it. It is sooooooo cute & healing beautifully with no itching or pain whatsoever. I particularly liked the fact that Marc, knowing that I'm vegan & have allergies, didn't try to force-sell their after care products on me when I explained that I'd done my research on tattoo friendly ingredients & had already bought & even made my own lotions & balms. It was really important to me for my tattoo to be perfect as I've been through a rough time these last few years & my cat & dog have helped me so much & now they are also with me everywhere I go :) No hesitation in recommending Oxford Tattoo, Marc & Big Dave - truly really lovely & skilled, talented guys! Absolute negative. Have Scars from Mark's one year old lazor and a "prison tattoo" from franq on my hand as i was lied at being told it would only need a few touchups. mark is not willing to make up the damage - the scars are only just healed and being treated now - a lawyer will be involved and mark will face legal consequences.
