I've actually visited Rampant Ink twice and have left disappointed both times. After studying their flash and explaining the tattoo I wanted and where, I have been promptly deflected by the receptionist and told to come back with a drawn design. I've explained that I'm not an artist, and I had hoped that a tattoo could be drawn up for me as I've had done at MANY other tattoo shops, but I've been sent away twice now, never to return. After my personal experiences and studying their website and reviews, I conclude that the shop in general is lazy and quite up their own a*ses. Had my first ever tattoo today and I just know it won't be my last � Lovely atmosphere, made me feel very relaxed, very professional, the website tells you all you need to know. Danica was ace. We met, discussed what I wanted and she came up with two beautiful butterflies that I had done in memory of my mum and dad. Have to honest I was a tiny teeny bit nervous, first tattoo, in a very prominent place (forearm) but I was so chuffed with the result I cried ( I have a tendency to do that �). Amazing work by Simon! Came in with a mix of ideas and let him use is artistic impression, the first sitting was awesome, just a little bit of work left to do to finish part 1 of my Sleeve! The studio is clean and tidy with a relaxed and very non-intimidating atmosphere making the whole experience more relaxing. Excellent work so far by Simon and great friendly staff all round. Studio is very clean and customer focused (netflix, dvd's, drinks, decent conversation etc) Don't waste your time anywhere else if you are looking for quality work in a quality studio. Good range of different styles too. Read Less

I've just had the last few bits of a full sleeve completed by Simon today and couldn't be happier. The staff are all friendly and really helped me piece together my ideas into a finished piece I'm proud of. The shop itself looks great since they've refurbished and they bring you lots of tea and coffee to keep you going! Each artist really has their own style so they have someone to accommodate whatever you're after and all of them are very talented and creative people.
