Gone for a piercing twice now during the £10 sale with Aleen and could not fault her! She is actually brutal and believe me when I say it, it's an amazing thing! I have really bad anxiety that definitely acts up more when I know I'm going to be in pain and she was extremely supportive and encouraging - knowing that I absolutely wanted the piercings of course and just went for it. I went today.. slightly nervous (understatement) at getting my daith pierced due to constant migraines.. was made to feel totally at ease by Aleen, was talked through the process as she did it and the whole experience was over and done in less than 5 mins with next to no pain!! Nothing is too much trouble for these guys. I've recently had a few piercings and the piercer has happily checked them and helped me out by changing the jewellery for me when I need to have some non metal ones in and back again. I went to Fat Fugu yesterday in the evening with my boyfriend, him looking to get his first piercing (an earlobe) and myself my tongue. Both of us turned up not certain if we wanted it, but Aleen greeted us and convinced us to first just fill out the paperwork and then go from there. My boyfriend had his piercing first, and Aleen was very quick and efficient, especially in convincing him that he could do it. It looks fantastic too, perfect placement for when he wants to stret...ch it. I then sat on the chair, and after an initial panic, I was convinced to first just do the dot. When she put the clamps on, I freaked out, so she kicked my boyfriend out and kept it to just us. She let me calm down, before putting on the clamps, and then with a countdown doing the piercing. Whilst it was painful, it was incredibly quick and beautifully done. She placed it as far back as she could, which is what I asked for, and it looks amazing. Following onto that she gave us both a full rundown of how to take care of our piercings, and talked to me for a while whilst my partner went to get the money as we didn't realise we couldn't pay by card. I am absolutely ecstatic with the experience, considering I've had rough experiences with piercings before, and I highly recommend Fat Fugu on a whole to anybody considering piercings, or even tattoos (we had a brief look through their artwork before getting our piercings.)
