My need to cancel left me being blocked by Lee which shows the level of maturity really. Did send a completely ironic and somewhat sarcastic message to this pages inbox being quite frustrated and still very unwell at how daft the whole thing was. I've heard nothing back. Story is, I had booked in for tattoo on 18/3 that was going to be an all day but I sadly had a change in work circumstances that meant less money so cut it down and opted for another tattoo instead. I'd already paid £150 which was the original deposit amount. The beginning of w/c 13/3, I developed a serious kidney infection that later required hospital treatment so I couldn't attend because of the pain. I was hoping the antibiotics would work in time as I had been told, but the infection was resistant so I had my friend call in for me to explain I was ill and I would call to speak to them when I felt better. I went to message Lee to explain and apologise only to find I'd been blocked. A mild overreaction for someone who's casually gained £150. My message follows: Thank you for blocking me because I had to cancel, forcing you to have gained £150 without doing any work, that must be awful for you. I've only been in agony for the last week with a uti and kidney infection, but it pales in comparison to how butt hurt you are that I had to cancel. To think I went to message, whilst still in alot of pain, to explain properly why I had to cancel and to apologise. It's not exactly very mature, or professional to act as you have over things like this since uncontrollable stuff happens all the time. It's the nature of the beast. I'm sorry that my illness inconvenienced you so. I was just going to go ahead and leave it because I feel too physically weak to fight, but now I'd appreciate half the money returned to me since I notified you of the reduced hours in plenty of time so only £75 of the money you have is yours as none refundable deposit.
