St Clair's is a fun, relaxing environment. It has a talented selection of artists that cater for all tattoo styles. There are no egos in the shop. Paul Slifer quite simply is the man! With only a few ideas he can create a totally stunning original piece and always exceeds my expectations. Paul is very efficient and great value for money. He won't rip you off by unnecessarily stretching a tattoo out over a few sessions. I stay in the North East of Scotland and he is well worth the 6 hour round trip! Read Less

Great experience from start to finish. Popped in for an initial visit to discuss what i was looking for and had a quick chat with Paul. Quickly realised I would be in good hands and booked in. Great communication throughout as I had some elements I wanted to have in the piece. Paul was really engaged and welcoming of my ideas and between us we came up with something which I am over the moon with. The tattooing experience in the studio was great. Amazing work! Got several pieces done here by Paul and all of them are exceptional. The healing process took no time at all and the staff was very concise in explaining how to care for the tattoos both in the coming weeks and in the long run. Several months later my piece is looking great with no fading at all. Also if you are looking for someone who can hand draw a perfect circle (a tricky business when permanent ink is involved) this is the place! I have been going to see Paul for years over his previous location and now here at St Clair's more recently. He is a true gentleman and a talent of the highest calibre. Having sometimes brought ideas to his attention or let him run his own ideas from start to finish I have a ridiculous faith in him. I couldnt imagine ever going to see anyone else. The new shop is large bright and open plan. He and the other artists create a fun inviting atmosphere and if it was closer id happily pop round more often just to say hi. Paul's work is absolutely amazing! I always let him know my vision and he brings it to life even better than I could have hoped for!
