My first tattoo and what a brilliant experience. Friendly and helpful communications before my visit (I travelled a long way) and from the moment I walked through the door, everyone was super friendly...
My first tattoo and what a brilliant experience. Friendly and helpful communications before my visit (I travelled a long way) and from the moment I walked through the door, everyone was super friendly, professional and reassuring. Once in the chair, Joanne was as brilliant as I had hoped - judging by her previous work, she had a lot to live up to and I wasn't disappointed. What a talented and awesome person she is. She absolutely nailed the brief in the watercolour painting she did prior to my visit and the results on my skin are just as good. I even got to keep the painting which is going on my wall. I am very very happy indeed. I can't imagine I would go anywhere else if I want more work doing (even though its a few hundred miles away).

I had the most amazing tattoo experience at Semper! I booked in with Keira for a rose and a dahlia on my ribs after seeing her work on instagram. The studio was lovely and it was such a nice atmosphere. The artists were all so friendly and made my session feel like it went much quicker. My new tattoo is absolutely perfect and I cant stop showing it off to people. A huge thank you to Keira for my beautiful flowers! I would absolutely love to come back for more flowers in the future. ππΈ

Centrally located in Edinburgh, and close to lots of shops and food. Claire did my tattoo, and was amazing in every aspect possible. She was very patient with the design, the timeline, and the commitment of a full day tattoo session. The environment inside is very calming, and inviting. Plenty of places to sit and review work before it starts, and to take short breaks. I wish I lived closer by, Claire Hamill would be my Go-To artist!!

My whole experience with Semper was a pleasure from the outset. From speaking to Akasha on the phone to chatting to Joanne via email to getting my wee fun actual tattoo itself. Joannes awesome portfolio speaks for itself, however, what you donβt get from it is how much of a wonderful young lady she is. From the moment we met, she made me feel relaxed and welcome. Throughout the session, she was open and honest and we chatted about so many deep and silly subjects. I can not recommend Joanne enough but I do warn you, she does this weird thing with her skin and the thing she does with her arm should come with a health warning πThanks again Joanne xx

Great Experience. Very talented and kind people. I have seen many good tattoo studios. This is certainly one of the best. Working on highest standards in terms of skills and materials (For example they use dermalize , like a second skin, for aftercare) Also they give great advice and make you feel very comfortable. I can highly recommend this place. My Tattoo was done by David Corden, who is a specialist in realistic tattoo. Pricing is on a higher level than average, but worth every penny. you get a timeless and beautiful piece of art in return.

My whole experience with Semper was a pleasure from the outset. From speaking to Akasha on the phone to chatting to Joanne via email to getting my wee fun actual tattoo itself. Joannes awesome portfolio speaks for itself, however, what you donβt get from it is how much of a wonderful young lady she is. From the moment we met, she made me feel relaxed and welcome. Throughout the session, she was open and honest and we chatted about so many deep and silly subjects. I can not recommend Joanne enough but I do warn you, she does this weird thing with her skin and the thing she does with her arm should come with a health warning πThanks again Joanne xx

The shop is beautiful, David is lovely, Kelly-Marie is very funny, my tattoo artist Keira was fantastic. The work she has done is just wow, no words to describe. Great Experience. Very talented and kind people. I have seen many good tattoo studios. This is certainly one of the best. Working on highest standards in terms of skills and materials (For example they use dermalize , like a second skin, for aftercare) Also they give great advice and make you feel very comfortable. I can highly recommend this place. My Tattoo was done by David Corden, who is a specialist in realistic tattoo. Pricing is on a higher level than average, but worth every penny. you get a timeless and beautiful piece of art in return.
