On vacation with my husband from the US and we decided we enjoyed Scotland so much we wanted to get a souvenir tattoo, I went for a stag and my husband got the lion rampant. Great experience here, friendly studio with a fun bunch of guys. My design came out great and Jeff was so good about making the changes I wanted to what he had drawn up. The amount of detail he worked into my piece in the time it took him is incredible and I absolutely love it! He was able to take a vagueish idea I had and work it into something unique and stunning. HTHT is most definitely a five star place. The whole experience from walking in the door and speaking with Jamie at the front, to leaving with a brand new piece is unreal. I've had a tattoo from both JFK (3 sessions) and Jock Ness (1 session) and on all occasions the service and experience was exemplary. I've never come across a tattoo shop with such a great range of movies and music to play, and the pinball machine is a great way to take a few minutes break. Read Less

I am a senior citizen and had my first tattoo earlier this week at this studio. I was quite nervous but really had no need to be. The studio is bright and clean and the tattoo artist was kind and talked me through the whole process in reassuring and helpful manner. The other staff were also friendly and helpful. I consider it to be an honour being tattooed at this shop. It was late in life before I started but I can honestly say it has been one of the greatest experiences of my life.
