Been to Brian twice now and will be definitely going back again. After two bad experiences with other local tattooists, Brian rescued my old tattoo and breathed new life into it with EXCELLENT results. He is now in the process of covering a deep scar on my back which makes me feel very self conscious. His relaxed yet professional approach put me right at ease. I could sit for hours in that chair! i have just visited Brian at Sugar Scull tattoos and had a coverup.. the 2 crapy tattos i had covered are now a beautifull work of art of flowers making my body art amazing...i would recomend Sugar Scull Tattoo studio to anyone thinking about getting tattos of any kind including coverups..i have called into many studios to get this particular coverup and came home saddened being told..."it cant be done"...well all those tatooists who told me this.. shud b ashamed of themselves because after seeing how Brian in Sugar Scull studios has done fantasic job on my coverup.. it ovbiously Can b done! i am very hapi with the outcome and will b returning to Sugar Scull studios for more amazing tattoos debi.. my son got a tattoo and he missed parts of the design and said he wouldn't correct it. it's no good saying he will do it another time when it's already been paid for, you wouldn't go back for half a hair cut would you, it should have been corrected straight away. Read Less

Any customers are more than welcome to call by at any time. We don't use "Ink"; we use pigment. Big difference. All tattoos are pictured straight after for convenience "obviously", people's lifestyles mean they don't have the time to call by for photo sessions weeks or months afterwards and there are differences in how many tattoos people collect and wear. So taking pictures afterwards is common sense for every tattooer, and every tattooer does it. It's common practice. However, where possible healed pictures are taken and displayed, much of it is on going work so you can see healed pictures. The after-care process for many is thwarted, and any tattooer will tell similar tales of people not taking our advice, but the advice from their mum's friends dad who had a tattoo in 1983?. That's one issue, there's cumulative points involved in good healing which I wont go into in a public domain because I will protect my industry and my own personal and professional guidelines of practice. All pigment used complies with all guidelines set out by environmental health legislation laws and is purchased from legitimate suppliers who require of professional status in the industry. Total rubbish, after 3 years my tattoo needs covering as the art work is poor and loads of ink has faded or even just disappeared. Keep away and do your homework dont forget any photos he shows is of the tattoo its right after its been done, so its going to look good. Just do your homework guys peace Read Less
