Gen completely transformed my face when I came to her for some eyebrow tattoos. Despite my fears and reservations, I took her advice - and I couldn’t be more happy! I'm not going to lie, I was kind of, well very nervous about the whole semi-permanent make up world! Finding Genevieve and now, following on from my previous review about my gorgeous eye liner with Pretty in Ink Genevieve in Liverpool Rodney Street i now have beautiful eye liner and perfect eyebrows. At the beginning of my appointment, in her beautiful consulting room Genevieve explained everything, guided me throughout and reassured me that she'd draw in my brows first to make sure they were what I wanted and liked them, even explaining the brow bone structure etc. I had taken pictures of her other ladies eyebrows she has on fb, twitter, Instagram etc so Gen knew what style and look i wanted and all her ladies/clients looked amazing so I knew I was in good hands and trusted her. With the numbing cream the procedure is virtually painless and if I felt a slight scratch I knew it was more psychosomatic haha...and I just relaxed listening to lovely music. I've just had my lips colour boost done, I love this procedure as it not only covers my scar on my lip but it also improves the scar, the scar is 37 years old so it had improved all it could, it is virtually invisible now and since having full lip tint done I now get compliments on how lovely my lips are, a first for me! I've done my eyebrows on april 2015 on the basis that the it was permanent makeup and it lasts up to 2 years.it wasnt permanent makeup its an actual tattoo and fast forward 2 years and a half the ink changed color but it didnt even fade! Microblading is supposed to give a natural hair by hair technique but the needle was huge and the strokes were too wide so no it wasnt natural at all my eyebrows were striped. Couple of months later the ink went from dark brown to pale green/blue. So i have been drawing in my brows over the tattoo the past two year and i just got them lasered off which is so painful and expensive and leaves scars! i really regret doing the "microblading" because it didnt serve its purpose and i drew them in everyday! One of the best choices I've ever made choosing Pretty in Ink to do my eyebrows I had the Ombre shaded brows, lovely atmosphere felt welcomed, really relaxed ( fell asleep twice I think!! Lol) didn't feel much pain and most importantly I was amazed by the results in the end I ended up having a little cry I've always struggled with pencilled brows for 2 years and low self confidence I would never ever be seen without my brows looking perfect lol but now thanks to the �gorgeous Genevieve� who advised me on what suited me yet left the choice to me in the end but I had faith in her opinion and now I can relax without make up and feel confident ! I have had full lip tint (aka gloss and go!) I have a scar on my lip from a lump removed over 30 years ago, I have since had correction surgery and fillers to try and improve the look, I am always asked or people saying to me "look at your coldsore" I've never actually had a coldsore its just my scar looks worse at times. The lip tint is amazing I can't stop looking at my lips, they are so balanced now, my scar can't be seen, my lips are full and healthy looking, in the 3 months since I've had them done I have had comments like "your lips are gorgeous" something that's never been said to me, and not one coldsore comment! After loosing my eyebrows through cancer I decided to have some tattoos done and did a lot of research until I found pretty in ink! What an amazing service provided by Genevieve. The initial consultation is extremely professional and Gen makes sure you're happy with the colour, shape and style before she starts. Testament to her, she advised me to go for microblading as opposed to the more expensive 3D brows I'd originally asked for, as they were "right" for me. Had my eyebrows tattooed here in the powder style a few years ago but regret it big time now. I went to a HD brow specialist who said they are "completely odd" in shape and very big and dark, so much so she couldn't do anything with them but dye them in the darkest shade. I felt mortified, but she was right, they do not match. I cover over them with concealer every day and try to redraw a more balanced, natural shape but it takes a lot of time. I am now looking in to laser removal. Please think twice before getting any brow tattoos, even microbladed brows can turn into one flat tattoo after a while. And despite the claims, mine have lost their colour and gone a murky navy, despite using an spf moisturiser daily and having a colour top up. I would not recommend at all. Read Less

Got my eyebrows done last year due to a scar and having half of my left eyebrow missing, the procedure was more or less pain free and worth every penny! I now no longer have to draw my eyebrows on every day and the colour matches perfectly. They look really natural and no one can tell they are tattooed.
