Went to get my first tattoo at Jays four years ago now. Really extortionate prices for what you get. Left it unfinished and wonky. Did exactly the opposite of what I asked for, pretty much said to me 'I can't do your design but I'll do what I think looks good'. As my first tattoo, I felt rushed and my opinions and wants felt pushed aside as 'he knew best'. I've been all over the country asking other places if they can work with it to finish it and they all say it's some of the shoddiest work they've ever seen. Asked for an iris, a daffodil and a sweet pea and got a gross muddy unfinished mess, the sweet peas look more like ballsacks and the whole thing at £700? Tattoo artists around the UK have been shocked when I told them the price after they see why it looks like and I've had to live with the embarrassment of having this mess on my forearm for four years. Had to have multiple sessions of expensive laser treatment to get it to a point where another tattooist can cover it with a completely different design. Biggest regret ever, look outside the box and don't get tattooed here, what a mess. Read Less

Arranged to get a tattoo done and said he would ring me when to come in,had to leave a deposit which seemed fair....never got the phone call so went back to get my deposit back but refused to give me it back saying that all deposits are none refundable....he eventually did the tattoo at a very premium price, fair to say i won't be having another at Jays Read Less
