Skin Illustrations has been my regular tattoo shop for a few years now.
I went to another local shop nearby for my first few tattoos, and grew dissatisfied with the service from the artists. They would deliberately go slowly and keep taking multiple tea and toilet breaks so that they could clock more time, charging me extra on the hourly rate.
After my first two or three tattoos, a few years back, I tried Skin Illustrations on recommendation from a friend, and met Jay. Jay has been my regular tattoo artist since - he doesn't waste time, he gets on with his work, with great results every time so far.
The tattoos are done faster, for a better hourly rate, and Jay has given great advice in that some of the designs I've wanted wouldn't have looked right with my body's curvature - so he drew the designs on free hand.
If you're looking for a new tattooist, I couldn't recommend Jay enough.

Didn't get my tattoo done in the end... got there in good time for appointment and then got ignored for an hour only to be told the didn't have what they needed to do my tattoo... great... didn't feel...

What a fantastic experience, friendly, thoughtful, accommodating, extremely clean, fantastic art work.
