Wow what can I say, iv had been looking into micro hair pigmentation for a couple of years but had never been brave enough to take the step into going for a consultation, until I came across Helen porters advanced cosemetics UK on Facebook ! I started to loose my hair around 22 years old which had a massive effect on my confidence! My hair was so important and the thought of loosing the frame to my face was seriously worring. I had been drawing my hair line on with mascara for about 12 years which to look at was Ok, but it affected everything I did in day to day life and took an hour each day to draw on, which as you can image was very frustrating. It affected my life in a big way as it couldn't be touched other wise it would smudge so wouldn't allow anyone to get to close and even stopped me from doing sports I loved and been able to do certain things with my children and family. I finally had, had enough and gave Helen porters a call to book a consultation! I was seen very quickly and when I arrived I was at ease straight away, a very friendly family run business. This is where I met Andrea who is one of the micro hair pigmentation specialists there! What can I say about Andrea, she is amazing, we went through the process in great detail which put me at ease with realising how much having the hair micro pigmentation was going to change my life. I was booked in the very next day after my consultation which for me was great, I just wanted to start straight away. I had 5 sessions with Andrea as we soon realised I was very fussy lol! The session were around 3-4 hours each and I was very surprised how little the process hurt. Andreas work is amazing and I couldn't be happier with the finish product, and it was way more affordable than I thought, as other big company's charge alot lot more and in my opinion there work dosent come close to Andrea's. This has been a massive life changing process and I would 110% recommend going to Helen porters UK if you are looking into micro pigmentation. All In all I am over the moon with my results and it has changed my life and the life I can lead with my family, and been able to do all the things i had missed out on over the 12 years up to having the hair micro pigmentation!! So in my opinion anyone that is looking into having this done, just ring up and make an appointment you will not be disappointed and it is so affordable. They do hair camouflage for bald people, camouflage eyebrows ect, and offer many other services, I would like people to ring them to see if they can get the same professional services that I received, If you need to look younger or have looks that could do with a makeover, I give you my word that Helen Porter will do exactly what she said she can do for you, I was so happy when I left there knowing I can put my total trust in them with the treat I am too receive, which is life changing for me and many other people who would suffer unpleasant daily looks, All it takes is one phone call to see what they can offer you to make you look younger ect, Just think about this: What have you got to louse. Highly professional and exacting staff..........I really cannot express the excellence in standards by Helen Porter, Tily and the rest of the team. They are all genuine and lovely people. Their work is excellent to a level that all apprentices should aspire to! The salon is spotless, calming, welcoming, and the staff are naturally polite and caring. The expertise of their work is magnificent. I had laser tattoo removal by Helen and semi permanent eyebrows by Tily. Scared a...nd daunted by having someone with an ink filled tattoo needle coming towards my face, I found I felt no pain, more of a tickle and my eyebrows are the adoration of friends. I spent many years plucking my eyebrows into a thin line (it was fashionable apparently!) When I tried to grow them back it became obvious that I had caused irreversible damage. It took me about 2 years to toy with the idea of having my eyebrows tattooed on. A facial tattoo is a big thing. BUT I can honestly say it is the best decision I could have made. I am a senior and very busy NHS professional. I opted to have my eyebrows tattooed by Helen Porter, to save time, around 18 months' ago. The results massively exceeded my expectations. They matched my skin tone perfectly and brought out my eyes. My partner loves them (he thinks I look younger) and my work colleagues were really impressed- so much so that a nurse colleague promptly ‘phoned up and made an appointment with Helen. Helen is affable, warm and also modest. She has years of experience and is seen as a leader in her field (she regularly jets off abroad to give lectures and training sessions). Her expertise is reflected in the fact that my eyebrows are EXACTLY the same chestnut colour as my hair. Moreover, she opted for a conservative shape- in line with my job, age (40s) etc. The same is true for my colleague. She appears to sense what people would want/ what would suit them. I have always been so nervous about having semi-permanent makeup. I had seen and heard of horror stories with eyebrows looking unnatural, lip liner looking too severe etc. But I knew as soon as I met Helen Porter I had found the right person! Helen is patient, with a great eye for detail and she will listen to exactly what you want. Initially I wanted my brows super light, but when I saw the difference it made to my face, I had a top up in a darker shade. Nothing was too much for Helen and she has the patience of a saint! I've also had the lip lush treatment and it's honestly the best thing I've ever done. I never have to worry about constantly reapplying lipstick... It is truly liberating. Gary forgot my booking which was done two months in advance. In his own words he didn't even look at the calender today, and took another day booking instead. I did try and get in contact before hand when I got my confirmation to check on the design, but I was told that would all be sorted on the day by reception. Evolution was recommended to me by a friend as I am new to the area and didn't know where to go for a tattoo. The staff are amazing. Friendly and chatty. The studio is very clean. Just been and had my eyebrows tattooed by Stephanie. I was so nervous as I've never has anything like this done before but straight away she put me to ease. The procedure is not at all painful like you would think, brow area gets a bit tender but that's all. Crap customer service. Wasted 3 weeks of mine and my husbands time. Been in to the shop twice, phone calls and emails and 3 weeks of chasing up a design for my husbands 30th which was yesterday - my husband gets an email from gary today after I have to ring to actually find out what's taking so long to say he doesn't understand what he wants. Even though we explained it twice to two different staff members, printed out images and emailed an image, we turned up for his appt for a chat with gary to find he had gone home but they said we didn't leave contact details which was rubbish they had my number and hubby's email address. So thanks for wasting 3 weeks of our time Will be going else where and will not recommend you to anyone else! Read Less
