Don't even know how to start this. The staff are ABSOLUTELY lovely! They make you feel welcome and it's such an relaxed environment. I've have a belly piercing, cartilage piercing and a tragus piercing there all in the same week � putting the pain to the side haha, The service couldn't of been any better! Had bottom half of my forearm tattooed by Rob last week - the beginning of a sleeve. Went in with one idea and came out 6 hours after being tattooed with completely different, but amazing tattoo design. Rob is amazing and takes time and provides ideas and advice on what to get and how to position it. ... The atmosphere inside is so calming and relaxing too. After a six hour session and few episodes of Can't pay we'll take it away, I came out with a much better tattoo than I could have dreamed of and the compliments I've received and even being stopped in the street by someone asking where I got it done, I would not hesitate to recommended Tattoo Shed. I've had 4 out of my 5 tattoos done here (one was done in turkey) and I'm still happy years later with them all! Rob and the team are always a laugh and make you feel welcome. Last week i had my tattoo done by Rob. I wanted to cover a massive scar that was bothering me for 25 years now. He was so helpful in choosing the design and throughout the whole process. I managed to get a cancellation for a "sternum" tattoo I say "sternum" as this was not what I left with! Very very disappointed and upset with the tattoo and how I was treated afterwards. I asked for a realistic flower sternum tattoo and ended up with a very faint traditional rose tattoo on my stomach! When I first went back to the artist she told me she had done the best she could and this was not her usual style.. something I should have been told before hand. She said she... could darken up the rose and put white on the outlines to hide the outlines. I'm no tattoo artist but this doesn't sound right for a black and grey realism tattoo. Also because it was too low she said she could add leaf in between to bring it up. something I felt would look odd, a rose with one leaf at the top. (We already added something above the rose but still not high enough). After showing two other artists from two different studios, both have said it was very bad work and in the wrong place. One even sent me a photo of how a sternum tattoo should be / placed. Both artists were confident they could correct this and bring it up. So when wearing a low top you could see the tattoo.. currently you can't! I sent the photo to the artist. I even showed the artist before hand photos of sternum tattoos. When I spoke to the owner of the shop he came across very aggressive and wouldn't let me speak he also called me a few names down the phone. Extremely unprofessional!! It was clear he couldn't correct this but there was no need to be so rude! He must have been able to hear how upset I was about this! I have asked for a refund as I now have to pay for a correction and possibly lazer to remove some of the work which is too low. Please do your research before booking anything with this studio! They are happy to take your money but not let you know untill afterwards they don't do realistic roses and haven't done a sternum tattoo before! The artist was very lovely! And her portrait work is of a high standard hence why I took the cancellation just unfortunately she doesn't do realistic roses and was un aware of a sternum tattoo placement. I have now lost time, money and will have to pay further to have this corrected! I was told rather rudely down the phone if I wanted my money back I should take them to court! Not something you expect to hear from a studio who take on work they haven't done before and then end up doing it completely wrong! I have been lucky enough to find an artist who currently has a years waiting list but after seeing how upset I was over this tattoo and his feedback he's offered to correct this for me and stay open late so I can have this corrected sooner rather than later.. this other tattoo artist has gone out of his way to help me shame not all owners of studios are the same! I really hate to write a bad review and almost didn't as the girl that does the piercings here was really nice. But I feel like I absolutely have to due to getting such bad service/results and I don't want the same to happen to someone else. I came here to get my septum pierced on Thursday 29th September. I trusted that it would be pierced in the right place that a septum should be done, so wasn't bothered that it wasn't marked out first. It was bleeding a lot so couldn't really see it when it was done but as soon as I went home and cleaned it I was shocked to see that it was pierced through the tip of my nose instead of through it, it didn't even go through my nostrils at all (I've added a photo !) I've never seen a placement as bad as this and was so upset. I went back three days later as that was the soonest I could, my gut said to just have it taken out and ask for a refund, but she offered to re do it so i thought I would give it another chance. She did it again.. this time it went in okay but came out at exactly the same point on the left hand side as the previous time , she agreed it would need to be re done again. So third time round it looks totally perfect on the left hand side and seems a little low on the other but I thought it would be fine. No extra charge for the twice its been re done. Bearing it mind it was bleeding a ton as this is the third time she had pierced it over 4 days, I got home and cleaned it to discover that the right side was so off and way too low down (have attached photo)! I am so gutted about all of this as thought it would be straight forward and trusted that tattoo shed would do it properly. I went back and had it taken out completely, my nose is also much too screwed up to have it done again until it heals. Went to another piercer who agreed it had been done in the totally wrong place both times. Three septum piercings later and a whole lot of time and travel expenses I am left with no piercing and only a £15 (out of the £25 I paid) refund. I'm left out of pocket, with no piercing and loads of visible holes in my nose that I'm hoping will heal/won't scar. Seriously couldn't be any more disappointed and sadly there's no way I'll be going back. Read Less
