I would not hesitate to recommend this studio.
Quality: the detail and care that is put into their work is excellent, absolutely faultless. I am over the moon with how mine has come out, the planning, the actual execution, the aftercare, the end result- everything is flawless. Whilst the work was being done Rie was very careful, gentle and constantly aware of whether I needed to wriggle or have a break.
Cleanliness: the entire place was clean enough to perform surgery in, the entire time I was there all members of staff were constantly cleaning and scrubbing everything, very safe covid measures and personal hygiene/ PPE etc and just generally the place was immaculate. It actually made me slightly embarrassed for how untidy my house is.
Price: very reasonable, no issues there. I wont list mine as I had a day rate and I dont want to skew expectations, so I would say enquire on the prices with them directly.
DJ skills: I am aware this is the most important part of the review, but pleased to confirm Ries music tastes are superb and she even sings occasionally which was actually quite soothing. If she could learn how to play an instrument using her feet whilst tattooing that would be the icing on the cake, but otherwise I realise I am asking for a lot.
Overall this place is fantastic and a great experience for anyone looking for their first tattoo or to add to their collection. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very skilled at their job. If you get a tattoo from here and do not like anything about it, you clearly are an idiot.

I really enjoyed coming to this studio. Since I stepped in it gave me the right feeling, clean, sharp, and full of personality. Everyone was very friendly and proffessional at the same time.

I really enjoyed coming to this studio. Since I stepped in it gave me the right feeling, clean, sharp, and full of personality. Everyone was very friendly and proffessional at the same time.
Because I needed to refresh and improve a reallistic religious tattoo that had many issues, Rie was the right person to take the challenge. I can tell the other artists are good but talking by my own experience I can say that Rie is a very good tattoo artist and it was a pleasure to be under her hands. I loved the way she worked, how it felt, how she enhanced the greys, shades and gave it a more balanced look.
I'm definetely coming back for more. This time for an ambitious piece which I know she can design because she also has great drawing skills. Just give it a look to her web page and her art work at the shop and you'll see.

Had my 1st ever tattoo here yesterday. Wow! What a great place. I was very nervous but everyone was so lovely I was relaxed within minutes of walking through the door. Staff are friendly and welcoming and I felt like I'd known them for years. Kim did a tattoo for me and my daughter and I couldn't have felt in safer hands. Highly recommended and have already done so. Thanks guys x

The studio is clean, light and very tidy. There are a number of very talented artists' and always someone available to speak to would-be clients', who come in to enquire about a future inking, they take their time, explaining clearly about the tattoo the person wants and advising best place to have it. With offers of tea or coffee during your tattoo, i can't really find anything negative to say. A truly 5-☆ experience......except for the pain of course!! �

I've had a few tattoos done here and I can honestly say I would not go anywhere else! They are amazing tattoo artists (all of them) and are very professional. I can leave this studio knowing that everything was clean and hygienic, so I'm at no risk of infection unless Im a dirty buga and don't look after it myself. If you need advice on how to look after your tattoo when it heals, they will happily help. Any queries are always answered happily without hesitation.... I have had two of my tattoos designed by Rie and she did an amazing job. She takes into account what you like, what she thinks looks good and what type of tattoo will suit your shape. She gave me wonderful advice and my tattoos came out amazing. If you ever feel a little dizzy (like I did on my back tattoo) they do everything in their power to help and make you feel comfortable. I have now moved away to the west Midlands and I still drive all the way to Newport for this tattoo studio and the amazing people who work inside. :) See more

Don't go to this tattoo studio unless you want the best artists in Newport on your skin. I have been to other studio's but no other have taken the time, care and attention to your artwork than here.

I would not hesitate to recommend this studio.
Quality: the detail and care that is put into their work is excellent, absolutely faultless. I am over the moon with how mine has come out, the planning, the actual execution, the aftercare, the end result- everything is flawless. Whilst the work was being done Rie was very careful, gentle and constantly aware of whether I needed to wriggle or have a break.

I've had a few tattoos done here and I can honestly say I would not go anywhere else! They are amazing tattoo artists (all of them) and are very professional.
