My sister came into the store with my 9-yr-old daughter last week. Having promised to take her to get her ears pierced for her birthday, they were struggling to get advice. You see, my daughter has an 'unusual' shaped lobe on one side. This is a unique little feature, which we have always told her makes her more beautiful because it's different, but it is something she is conscious of. They had received advice from a well known accessories shop who told them that stretching t...he lobe to make it a "normal" shape would be the only way that they would be able to pierce the ear. They then came to you and while you also said she would not be able to get it done straight away (her thicker lobe would require a needle and she is too young for that) but that the lobe stretching to attempt to manipulate the shape was not something you would recommend. They left without a piecing, but with plenty to think about given the very different advice received. This morning, I asked my daughter if she had been attempting to stretch and manipulate the lobe, as per the 1st lot of advice received. Her response shocked and warmed my heart. She has decided that she doesn't want to have a "normal" ear anymore (something she has cried and wished for since she was aware of it) because the lady at the shop (I wish I knew who!) told her that her ear was special and beautiful, exactly as it is.... This small gesture, from a stranger, has resonated with my beautiful 9-yr-old daughter and I can't thank you enough (whoever it was) for instilling in her that, not only is it o.k. for her to be a little bit different, it is beautiful and special. I know this isn't really a review, as we didn't buy or use your services, but I think it speaks volumes to the kind of people you have working there and I want whoever it was that spoke to my daughter to know that you have made a big difference to my girl. Amazing shop always has a range of amazing designs on their tshirts but was very disappointed with the quality of their Amy wine house super woman top as it took one wash and already started peeling off and now it's been a couple of weeks and it nearly completely peeled in certain areas atleast recommended a hand wash if it's not going to be a good quality print but other than that amazing shop x Read Less

I had my lip pierced today I don't know the ladies name but i really wish i waited for lauren, the ladies i had today were right grumpy bastard the one at the till and the one doing my piercing were so horrible and abrupt i will never ever have any piercings done by the 2 ladies i had today, i will only ever deal with lauren Read Less

Had my rook and helix done by Loren today, I'm a big baby when it comes to pain but she was extremely comforting and made sure to be very clear with all instructions and reassuring me. Done a great job with my piercings and has encouraged me to come back which I defiantly will be!
