The artists that I have met and briefly spoke to are very polite.
The studio is very clean and the atmosphere is welcoming.
I will have no problems recommending this place to all my friends.

My initial experience was good and they came recommended, however I never got past the consultation stage. The consultation was great and I felt at ease. After my consultation I didn't heard from them...
My initial experience was good and they came recommended, however I never got past the consultation stage. The consultation was great and I felt at ease. After my consultation I didn't heard from them despite having a deposit, which from a customer service point of view was quite poor.
When I made contact I didn't receive a proper explanation or apology or any attempt to put things right. I appreciate my message was that of an angry customer which may had a bearing on the lacklustre response, but there should have been an understanding of why I was angry.
I can't comment on their tattoos, but their work looks great and I would have happily gone there.

Was recommended Surburban Ink and went here for my first tattoo. Nothing else to compare it to, but felt like I had a really good experience from start to finish. Quick response to my initial email enquiry, matched up with the artist Si, and booked in for a consult within a few weeks. Si expertly unpicked my wishy-woshy ideas for what I wanted and produced a gorgeous individual design.
Great environment and atmosphere in the shop and all the people I met were kind and friendly. All facilities were well maintained and was able to watch a movie or two whilst the tattoo was being completed. Lovely brew beforehand too!
Good aftercare advice. Now looking forward to returning here for more tattoos in the future. Thank you!

Visited this week for laser removal, use the same machines as the big clinics. Very impressed with result after just a couple of days and less swelling, bruising - cheaper too.

Totally awesome, professional and superb artists. This is a QUALITY studio of the very highest standards. Dave Stokes applied my first tattoo at the age of 60 and I'm so, so happy with it! Every day I look at the bruilliant art work on my leg, a portrtait of someone very special to me, and I get an inward thrill that never wears off. It was a life changing thing for me and I''m so glad I had the work done here... Fantastic!

I've been using surburban ink now for over 5 years. What a lovely atmosphere when you walk in the shop greeted with a smiling face and a cup of your favourite beverage while you wait.( well if your favourite beverage is coffee). Always open minded when listening to your tattoo ideas and offer their extensive experience to make the final outcome amazing. Can't speak any more highly of the guys at Surburban. Lovely people and great at what they do. Thanks guys👍🏻

in response to Lee's review above. Lee came into the studio and was abrupt and rude from the beginning. We agreed to work with him initially because we have a policy of trying to help all customers that come in to see us. On reviewing his idea (which was a bad one) we decided as a group that his was the kind of customer we could well do without. he was sent an e mail explaining that we didn't want to work with him and we wished him luck in finding an artist that would better suit his idea. A torrent of abuse followed. He was awful to deal with and to be honest i feel that making the decision to send him elsewhere was absolutely the right one. He got his deposit back within 24 hours (despite his claim) and we all breathed a sigh of relief. the fact that he has taken the time to actually come on and give us a bad review probably says more about the type of person he his than anything i could say here. Its amazing the lengths people will go to for petty revenge when all we did was refuse to work with him (which is absolutely our prerogative as a studio and totally the most professional thing to do when a customer presents in this manner)...i'm sure than anyone reading his review above can probably see why...

Very poor customer service, I had initial consultation with Dave and paid £100 deposit and booked days in for the tattoo at the last minute this was cancelled and I was told he was unable to do the Tattoo at all and would refund my money...however this took over 5 day's of me having to constantly keep requesting the money and this didn't help with Dave's argumentative attitude..eventually spoke with Danny at the studio and was refunded...what should have been a good experience was completely ruined by Dave's(the owner) attitude.

Was recommended Surburban Ink and went here for my first tattoo. Nothing else to compare it to, but felt like I had a really good experience from start to finish. Very poor customer service, I had initial consultation with Dave and paid £100 deposit and booked days in for the tattoo at the last minute this was cancelled and I was told he was unable to do the Tattoo at all and would refund my money...however this took over 5 day's of me having to constantly keep requesting the money and this didn't help with Dave's argumentative attitude..eventually spoke with Danny at the studio and was refunded...what should have been a good experience was completely ruined by Dave's(the owner) attitude.
