Got a wrist tattoo here when I was 18 and the quality was shocking. The lines were all wonky, the stars were all shapes, the colour were not filled in right. 3 weeks later it swapped up my wrist and scarred my skin to the point where the colour isn't here. I've had to have the whole lot redone to a much more professional standard. Absolutely avoid. The place is a mess and he didn't wrap it up properly. Read Less

30 years experience? More like 30 days, my wife was in pieces after getting a tattoo here. Not only was it outrageously poorly designed but he blatantly refused to accept he had done the design when she went back. This man is a menace and shouldn't be tattooing. Thanks so much for making my experience of my first tattoo not only bearable but made me totally at ease! Pain was minimal even with my choice (clavicle) felt like I was talking to a friend I've known for years so very friendly and a right laugh aswell! Listened to exactly what I wanted and gave perfect advice! Also thank you for my daughter's belly button piercing (by far the mardest kid ever) again made her totally at ease so much so that we were able to stand outside without any tears! After reading the other review i feel compelled to agree strongly regarding the absolute agony that i felt after having what should have been a very simple and relatively painless tattoo. I had a tattoo between my shoulders around 8 years ago which was done by a very good artist in Swansea, its about 10cms wide, it took around 45 mins cost £45quid and was amazing, not much pain at all. I went to Wizard around 4 years ago with a design in mind, a small black cat for my left shoulder. He told me it would be £35 and he could squeeze me in then and there. The Elvis memorabilia should have been a clue, this was not a proper deal... 12 minutes later!!! I had a bloody, sore tattoo. whilst the end result is okish - a bit blurry - the pain of him doing it was just awful, but nothing like the pain after. It bled and wept for about 2 days, i was very strict with my aftercare (which he hadnt told me about - i remembered from my first). It continued like this for a good few days and felt like he had bruised my shoulder bone. Simply awful, if i could score 0 stars i would. Read Less

I went along to have a few tattoos done, being new to salford i hadnt a clue about which tattooist to use, and i heard via a friend that wizard was cheap.. so i decided to go see him The shop itself is very basic. the man who owns and tattoos, after bragging he has been tattooing for over 30 years, told me he is the best at his art and could esily tattoo what i wanted for a very cheap price.. (3 tattoos for 70 pounnds) WOW i thought, great.. he told me he wouldnt tattoo me straight away but wanted me to go back the next day after he had designed what i wanted.. so the next day arrives and i go back... he had three lovely designs of my childrens names to go on each wrist and a butterfly for my foot.. He told me they wouldnt look like they did on the stencil, but would look better once finished.. i hesitantly agreed to him tattooing me.. my wrists, they were undoubtedly the worst pain i have ever felt in my life, and i have had broken ribs and alsorts.. when they were done they were very swollen and i couldnt make out properly what he had done.. he then tattooed my foot and i told him i wanted black and grey shading into mild colour.. he ignored this and did what he wanted and gave me awful neon colour. once these were done he said they may swell a little but jus go home an keep your feet up and they will be fine in 24 hrs.. Once i got home i sat and thought through what had happened and realised he didnt ask me to sign anything. he gave me no aftercare advice.. NOTHING! i had to search on the net for the info i needed.. Within a few days my foot was angry and the size of a balloon. It had an infection in the tattoo and i had to take antibiotics to clear it. My wrists, after the swelling went down werent anythign like i had asked for.. the letters look like a 3 yr old has scribbled them on. it looks like he missed a letter out and jus threw it in afterwards. none of the letter are joined like i wanted. and to make matters worse. it would seem he has gone to deep and the ink has blown and migrated.. i look constantly like i am badly bruised on my wrists and the ink is terrible. i am left with this now until i can afford laser removal.. i went back to see the guy a few weeks later and he said the ink migration is rubbish and anything that is wrong will clear up within 12-18 months... 12-18MONTHS!! wtf.. i didnt expect to have to wait so long to have my tatt looking gd.. i know, though, this will never happen.. i have consulted numerous tattoo artists and they say the same things.. to have my wrists sorted i either have to get laser to lighten it then have a new design or have a massive tattoo designed in black to do a cover up!! they all say the ink has migrated and blown in parts due to the original artist having tattooed far to deep as the wrists are so delicate special care should be taken.. i have now learnt my lesson and sought out a GD tattooist in manchester who is helpin me come up with some solutions to this as the guy at WIZARD TATTOO STUDIO is totally unwilling to listen to the problems, he is totally unwilling to acknowledge that the tattoos on my wrists are wrong.. even though u can quite clearly see that they are terrible. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS GUY!!! HE IS TERRIBLE.. I HAVE SINCE FOUND OUT HE HAS DONE THIS TO OTHERS!!!! BEWARE!!! Read Less
