Helpful staff from the first initial emails to the day off the tattoo. Really friendly environment to be in, the vibe was like being amoingst friends which was great because it made me feel super relaxed. Justyna who did my tattoo was lovely, and designed a perfect tattoo from just a few emails and photos. We were the last in the shop and it was nice to not feel rushed out, she spent extra time on my piece and it’s AMAZING. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. They’ve been wonderful every step of the way. This wasn’t my first tattoo, however this was the best studio I’ve ever been to. Pre-Tattoo I visited a shop before I went here and the price here was less than half of the price at the other place. The receptionist was really friendly and set me up with an appointment (they don’t seem to have many drop ins). The price they gave me in that moment is the one they committed to and kept. During Tattoo They were running a few minutes late but I actually take this as a good sign in a tattoo studio - if they’re willing to run over to do a good job then I think that’s preferable. The artist was really friendly and took time working through the images I’d sent over and getting one in just the right size and location. He was patient and made sure I was comfortable. They gave me a sheet of paper with detailed aftercare instructions and I felt confident that I knew what to do. Post-Tattoo The next day, I felt like one of the tattoos I got was coming out perfectly. It was beautiful and exactly like I had wanted. The other seemed to have slightly uneven lines. You had to look close to notice it but it concerned me. I waited another day, wondering if I was just being paranoid. I was leaving the area in about a week (I’d just been visiting) so I figured I’d email them to check. I sent them some pictures and explained my situation. They offered to schedule a touch-up for the next time I was in Manchester, or give me a generous partial refund in cash to cover the cost of a touch up in a studio more local to me! I was so thankful. Tattoo artists are human and no one is going to produce 100% perfect tattoos all the time. I was impressed that they were willing to stand by their commitment to providing you with excellent work :) I’ve recommended it to friends and I know someone else who is already considering getting their next tattoo there. What an absolutely fantastic place! The staff are so welcoming and my entire experience was easy and relaxed. Very quick and helpful communication from the staff via email after I first messaged an enquiry through their website and a week later, I was in the chair! Amazing. Sam's work is exquisite and now a week later, I've not had a day where my new tattoo has not been complimented. My colleagues and friends also now want to go here to get their next pieces after seeing my results, which is great! Cannot wait to come back for some more work! I had 4 tattoos in one day - my first ones ever and they made me feel so comfortable as I was a little nervous! About the pain and just been certain its what I wanted but she took her time helping me with the sizes of the symbols.... will definitely be going back for more! Absolute appalling service. Thought this would be a great experience, contacted them weeks before tattoo appointment as they said they get booked up months in advance. Went for consultation with Nathan he didn't write anything down just said he would have the design to show me 3 weeks after the consultation. I contact them many times chasing the design only to be told that I should appreciate he has other appointments before me, which of course I understand but when you are paying hundreds of pounds for a tattoo that will be on tour body for the rest of your life you want to be reassured that the art work is exactly want you want. Started work on my first tattoo yesterday, a full back piece being done by Fish. The artwork is superb, somehow from me very badly describing the idea that was in my mind he has taken it and made it better. There are little touches off the back of research done by Fish that although I didn't mention show the level of care and thought that goes into each piece. I could not be more impressed, 24 hours later I'm still grinning from ear to ear with the results so far. Can't wait to have it finished! Fish, and the other artists, are all very friendly and it was none stop laughter. The atmosphere in the studio is superb, both putting me at ease and keeping me perked up. Even if I didn't come away with the tattoo I would be able to say I had a thoroughly enjoyable day. I could not recommend the studio more. Thank you! Read Less

Really don't understand the majority of these bad reviews. Had a wonderful experience at Manchester Tattoo emporium. Got my 3rd tattoo by Sami and she was extremely lovely and understood exactly what I wanted and made sure I liked the finished result and also gave me an aftercare sheet and her contact card if I had any issues. Waiting time was spot on and everyone who works there was extremely kind. Will definitely be going there again! Read Less
