I had a tattoo here a while ago... such a nice place and extremely clean. It was a sensitive subject of a memorial tattoo that I had done for my baby girl, who was born sleeping elsewhere... A previous tattoo artist(not from vidaloca) didn't do a great job. The team here were so passionate and welcoming and helped turn a bad situation in a better experience. I've had all 3 of my tattoos done here & I've just took my daughters to have their ears pierced with Jenny. She made them feel so comfortable & was very patient with my eldest daughter who was scared of having it done. She got too scared & wouldn't do it so Jenny put the earings to the side for her if she changes her mind. I have a phobia of needles! I'm the girl who passes out in the waiting room at the doctors surgery! So getting a tattoo was a pretty grim thought but I was adamant. And I'm so glad I was introduced to Danny just in time! As a tattoo virgin with just a basic idea of what I wanted, Danny created the most amazing piece of art which was really personal to me. I was the pain in the backside customer, who was panicking about it being 'just right' I didn't like that design and then didn't like that one etc etc. Jessica had the patience of a saint. Could not fault the whole experience, this was not my first tattoo here and it wont be the last, leah was lovely and nothing was too much trouble, she completely made me feel as ease and talked me through what she was doing. I would not hesitate in recommending her at all. We have already started planning the next one which is a cover up for lets say a crap one. Do not waste your money or time anywhere else. Vida loca is the place to get your ink. Superb service, and artists, who make sure your tattoo is one to be proud of. I have just had my first tattoo. I will happily admit I was anxious about it but I can honestly say the wonderful team at Vida Loca put all of my worries to rest. From the first moment you walk in you are made feel so welcome, the delicious coffee goes down quite nicely as well. If you ever had any preconceptions about what a tattoo shop is, Vida Loca will shatter them. The staff are friendly and professional, the environment is all inclusive and there is not the macho atmosphere I have encountered at other establishments. No matter what you want doing they will give serious consideration to how it can be achieved without judgement. I was tattooed by Nell and his professionalism was faultless.
